This is a great campsite. Sites are more spacious than a lot of RV Parks we got a wooden deck on our site which was awesome. Beautiful Gazebo with a great view of the river for gathering or wifi, friendly people all around & we got daily cuddles from the resident cats. Thanks to Willa for a great stay!
The park is nice with a river running through the property. The seasonal campers are good folks. The problem is the owner of the park can't decide whether she's running a cat park, or an RV park. Cats are allowed to wander freely around the grounds. Both the owner's cats and those of guests. A guest's cats climbed onto another guest's trailer and scratched at the window screens. The park owner was made aware and did nothing. No one is happy about the cats but no one will say anything out of fear of reprisal from the owner. A guest was found pirating satellite TV from another guest. The owner was informed and did nothing. Another problem is that enforcement of the many rules of the park is inconsistent and depends on whether the park owner likes someone, or not. A feeling that can change in an instant. A guest, who's a musician, asked if he could have some fellow musician friend come over to jam. He was told no. A guest asked about bringing in his own firewood and was told that was not permitted. Other guests bring their own firewood in regularly. One of these many rules is that there is to be no duct tape, or other silver tape used to mend/patch RVs. Unless it's the owner's trailer see photos. Another rule is that there is nothing to be tied, affixed, or otherwise hung from any trees. See photos. There is supposed to be only a single vehicle at each site. See photos. The park owner has been known to yell at guests if they do something she doesn't like. She will also talk nicely to someone's face, then turn around and bad mouth them behind their back. There are *at least six* seasonal guests who are leaving at the end of the season, or who have already left. More may go as well. This is not a place that can be recommended. EDIT: In response to the owner's comments - You're suggesting that I and others who left and those to whom I spoke are lying and you're the only one telling the truth. For the record I was *not* there for 2 1/2 years. Others who've left and those considering leaving have been there longer. They simply got tired of the owner's nonsense. The owner also stood in the road blocking someone from leaving yelling at him about whether he was my "source." Not overly friendly or rational behaviour. As for the rest of the word salad, I'll just leave that there for others to try and decipher.
We camp all over Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and PEI and we love staying at All Done RV! We've been coming here for 2 years now and have stayed on 4 different occasions. Willa is great, friendly and always willing to help. We feel welcome whenever we come, love the seasonals and all that Willa and the seasonsls plan out like washer toss tournaments, pot lucks and Christmas in July! The sites are pretty large, the power and water are great and Willa is always working hard to keep building and improving. There is free basic wifi at the office and outside deck for checking emails [and really when at the campsite who wants to do anything more?!], a beautiful pergola with seating overlooking the river that runs through. You can get firewood easily and Willa works hard to keep the campgrounds tidy and well kept but she always has time for a visit if you've a yen. It's a community of awesome people. Perfectly situated for those visiting New Brunswick. You can be in Sussex within 15 minutes, to St. Andrews in and hour and forty minutes, Moncton in 45 minutes, Hopewell Rocks in one hour and twenty minutes and you can see nearly 30 covered bridges within a short hour drive in really direction! It is perfectly located.
We stayed at this Campground for 2 weeks and will be returning the end of October for a couple of more days on our way south for the winter. It does cater to empty nesters and snow birds which we appreciated and the Host - Willa was very accommodating. Do follow the directions she gives on the website or use an RV gps or you will be going down some sketchy roads and may even run into a covered bridge or two. Which do not accommodate RV’s and usually impossible to turn your rig around especially if you’re towing. The towns of Sussex and Sussex Corners are charming and we found this location to be great for day trips to Moncton, Saint John and the Bay of Fundy Trail. Overall a great experience.
This was our third campground on our road trip to Newfoundland. The campground was very clean and had a beautiful view of a river. Not really any amenities offered but it was a perfect place to just set up the RV and relax. The owner was very accommodating of the type of site we needed and let us switch to one we thought would work better.
This is a great place to stay. The owners were exceptionally friendly. Built a step for one of our fellow campers and Even offered to help with our laundry so we could spend more time touring around. If your are looking for a great place to stay this would be it
We came to ALL DONE CAMP GROUND June 18th which we have booked for 3 days. Willa met us at the door and told us to pick out any lot we wanted. After parking our trailer, and hooking up, Willa came down to our campsite and we paid her for the 3 days we had plan on staying. We than had a chat with her and she told us about the trails, tubing, kayaking, ATV trails and the activities that were going on that weekend. We have a beautiful site with lots of trees. Our trailer is 28' long and the lot is plenty big. Most of the lots here are double lots so it does not feel crowded at all. It is very peaceful and relaxing. After sitting in our trailer for awhile, we decided to go for a drive to Sussex and we debated on keeping the lot as a seasonal and decided to go for it. The prices are better than any other place We've visited, and Willa and Cal go above and beyond to help and make your stay welcoming.
The owners were very kind and accommodating and offered assistance with our travel schedule. We chose this site for its central location .We used the campsite as or headquarters for 3 days while we toured all the highlights within a 2 hour radius. The full service campsite was quiet and spacious. Hopefully over time a comfort station will be built for washrooms and showers.
Done a bit of camping at All Done.So happy that the rules are actually enforced! In 10 years of camping, I have been driven out of other parks by excessive barking dogs, late night disruptive screeching unsupervised children, party people who have no regards for fellow campers as late as 3:00 am ! I was ready to quit camping, and I found this wonderful, friendly, upbeat sanctuary for " empty nesters". Willa and Calvin- take great pride in this wonderful spot you have!! Linda Mowbray
Awesome campground. Owner/manager is a wonderful person. Nice quiet campground. 100% happy here, highly recommended
