I called this place twice. The first time Lou was kind enough to point me to the right business without acting as the middle man and I was happy to go back to them. The second time someone else picked up the phone. I wanted to know how much they would charge to replace spark plugs on my car. The estimate for putting in Iridium plugs at $25 a piece (they pushed these plugs) was $360. This estimate is twice the cost I would pay at the dealership or elsewhere. Secondly, iridium plugs are not necessary. This is a marketing gimmick. Platinum plugs will do just fine. Thirdly, the markup on iridium plugs is outrageous. Iridium plugs can be purchase online for about $12 retail. Repair shops usually pay less than half that. So the four factor mark is ludicrous. Platinum plugs would cost about $3 each. Lastly, the person was unwilling to give me a quote for labour alone. They do not do repairs if customers bring in parts but they are willing to gouge customers.

I spent a lot of money trying to fix a second hand car that I should have not have tried to fix. I also did unessacery repairs to the car. The car was bad and I just kept having to do repairs. When I asked the mechanic who worked on my car whether or not it would last he said it might last another 100k and never really gave a straight answer and he said it was hard to tell. Lou did tell me the car was discontinued because it had oil leak issues and the car had many problems. They did basically imply that car might have a chance of lasting.They never lied to me but i should have not tried to fix it. 3.5/5

unfortunately very dishonest! i used this shop a couple times because i saw great reviews online the owner was very polite/friendly but don't be fooled now a days for money people will screw you with a smile, the third and last time i used AAI cost me $657 seemed very expensive for what it was so out of curiosity i went to a few other shops and they quoted me 180+tax for the part =203.40 and 2 hours labour let's say 100 an hour =200+tax=226 grand total $429.40 a big difference of $227.60 maybe they were having a slow week and tried to make up for it or they charge 200 dollars an hour labour and i wasn't aware!
