We had the pleasure of working with Aligra Wines on a few occasions. They came out to our retirement residence to do some wine tasting events with our seniors. They were friendly, knowledgeable and brought some really great wines. Our seniors loved it. Highly recommend.
Decent selection, conveniently located in the mall. I had gone back a few days in a row as I was staying at the fantasyland hotel in the mall, bought a 4 pack of coolers. The brunette lady working there made me feel uncomfortable and glared and me when I said hi, I thought- maybe a bad day? No because she’s wasn’t very friendly the other 2 times I was in. Selection is decent for a mall, customer service is lacking, prices seemed fair. Too bad they are the only liquor store in the mall. Email sent to management.
I work at a Retirement Residence and we have had Aligra on-site at least 4 times hosting wine tasting events for our residents and at a networking event. Alison and her colleague Ken Bracke, both skilled Sommeliers, were wonderful to work with and put on excellent presentations. Their choice of wines to taste was perfect and our residents and guests had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Aligra Wine & Spirits!
I called in with a general idea of what I wanted in a gift basket and they truly took it to the next level. It’s been well over a month now and receiver of the basket still hasn’t opened it saying it’s to beautiful to ruin. It’s now a permanent center piece on their dinner table! Aligra truly went above and beyond my expectations!
Always a good experience at Aligra, the staff are friendly and they have a solid craft beer collection and are always adding more. I shop here on the regular and will continue to do so!
Aligra is located inside the West Edmonton Mall and is just a few feet away from the entrance to the Fantasyland Hotel, which makes it an excellent liquor mart for all those staying there. Not to mention, this place is fully stocked according to my boyfriend, Aligra carries some scotches he hasn't seen in other stores and the staff is really friendly
Great liquor store, employees are very knowledgable. Had one tall gentleman provide a lot of great recommendations and provided a sample to make sure I didn't waste money on whiskey I didn't enjoy. Fantastic customer service from that man.
I love this place! I've sampled all kinds of alcohol before buying. It is a great experience. The staff are helpful and friendly! Also they bring in a wide variety and very unique cool items to purchase as well! Highly recommend this liquor store if you are in west Edmonton mall!!
Very convenient location and the staff is usually very friendly. It is definitely more expensive than other liquor stores, but I guess it’s because of the location. They have single cans of Belgian Moon which I love! Edit to the response: as someone who regularly goes to plenty of liquor stores I will have to disagree lol.
More products wine and beer in my case overall a good experience just not enough variety.
