Alexander House

Was pleasantly surprised how great the food was out in the middle of nowhere. My 10oz ribeye was cut and cooked perfectly. Real tender, melt in your mouth tasty! The salad bar had all the necessary toppings and the lettuce was fresh. They were out of the cheesecake dessert, but I will still be looking forward to my next meal here!

Our supper was excellent! Steak cooked perfectly! The salad bar was fresh and the owners/staff were very friendly!

The owners treated us like family. They have rooms downstairs, a package store, and a terrific restaurant upstairs with a super salad bar and daily specials. We stayed 8 days and will definitely stay here next time also.

The service was fantastic and the staff was friendly and kind. The rooms are very basic but clean and comfortable. It was great to have a fridge in the room, but I wish a crib had been available. There is free WiFi, but no other amenities.

This is a relatively nice hotel for being in a smaller town. The rooms were nice with 2 beds, a decent size flat screen tv, and a very large mini fridge. They had a nice restaurant/bar upstairs which had very good food for a decent price. The service was kind of slow but the place was packed at 7:00pm on Valentine's day so that was to be expected. My steak and lobster came out perfect though.
