Alder Medical Centre

Unable to provide services. Was told to go to emergency for removal of 4 stiches.Shame on Alder and all of the people responsible for such dark age discriminate behavior. As soon as they found out I had a out of Province health card. Service was denied. Called two days prior and was told to come in before noon or after 1330. Residential bigotry comes in many forms. Ontario and BC have recipocol service agreements in place. After working in public service for 41 years I am aware of the avenues available to the public for recourse

I see there are some low reviews for this clinic. I have personally only had good experiences here. The staff are friendly and my phone appointments are always on time. I've never had issues getting through to reception.

An over all great doctors clinic. I would give 5 stars but the ability to get ahold of anyone right now is tremendously hard. Both the Pediatrician and Main Floor phones are completely out of whack. Constant busy lines, or no answer at all. This needs some reframing, I would like to get hold of my doctor when I am having medical issues, or my daughters pediatrician in the event of an emergency :

The staff are all wonderful, greetings are with a smile and appointments are very close to on time as scheduled.

Gorgeous waiting room with paintings and photographs, competent, friendly, warm and knowledgeable staff. Experience was excellent, a healing atmosphere... Very compassionate and attentive staff

I called first to check if there was a wait, they said no come on in. I came in and put my name down and asked again how long the wait was they said no wait at all. Well I have been waiting now for 45 mins.....talk about island time.
