They've made some efforts to modernize the pool. The staff are great! The change rooms are clean. Hot tub could be warmer and have a higher water level as well. Showers are not private, they need stalls or curtains for them.

Great place to swim play squash or take sauna, whirlpool. Usually not to busy either.

I used to come here frequently as a competitive swimmer, back when it was the Bowmanville Aquatic Centre. The walls were, as Gordon Downie would say, yellow-grey and sinister. It was dark and dank, and I used to stub my toes on cracks in the floor tiles. At times, the air on deck became oppressively humid, and aerosol chlorine burned our lungs so badly, we used to stick our heads out the emergency exits to get fresh oxygen. That was then... The renovated facility looks so much better! There's lots of bright lighting, and the pool area is clean and well-ventilated. Nice people, too.

Such a bad place and staff are miserable. Don't waste your time.
