Today my wife and kids were corralled like animals by a bunch of venomous herridans hell bent on gatekeeping where a family can worship. It was bullying plain and simple. This Masjid used to be family friendly, now apparently you cannot bring your kids into the main prayer hall and are told to leave them at home. Whatever changes this Masjid is making it's not just physical but cultural. I don't know who these women are whether they were volunteers or just worshippers but no one stopped them. I remember the imam after Eid Salah asking the entire congregation to be welcoming and accepting to kids in the prayer hall especially after a few were behaving like kids would. Clearly that message is getting lost or something has changed and now kids can't pray in the main prayer hall. Watch out. Stand up to these bullies.
Beautiful clean mosque, but they pray 1st cuma at 11.45 which is mekruh for me. I wonder Where did they get this fatwa
I have been visiting this mosque very often. Ideally I should be visiting every day in every prayer. It is really a well organized community oriented place. You may come not only to offer congregational prayers but to learn the way of life according to the Quran and Sunnah. Every one is welcome here. They organized several programs like weekly gathering for kids & family every Friday, weekly sister program, madrassa and many more ... they also invite good speakers during Friday Jummah . The Imam of this mosque, Sheikh Riad is very knowledgeable, energetic, well versed and good orator or speaker ... He along with team Al Falah puts lot of effort to organise many programs. May Allah swt bless him inshaallah. Some quick points 1. There are 3 Jumma Prayers. Please check Al Falah site for timing 2. Weekly Halaka on Every Friday. Please join with your family. 3. Enough parking spots for Friday Prayers 4. Separate entrance for sisters Assalamo Alaikum WrWb.
Not sure why women are stored away out of sight but men get full access to great halls. I challenge anyone to show a Hadith or Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH that divided the House of Allah like this. It is culture that rules this and many masjids in the GTA and it is sickening. You are literally pushing sisters away from this Deen and will need to answer for it on the Last Day. Please be humble, careful and reconsider this “back home” approach. May Allah SWT guide us all to what is best ameen.
I’m so happy with all the programs at aap Falah, I wish there was quran class for kids and programs basketball etc for younger kids
I like the Masjid along with the basket ball court , indoor games and washroom facilities.
Very organized Islamic community center. All prayers on time separate prayer room for Ladies and Islamic school also here too.must have to donate as much as you can.

good experience at iftar, very delicious samosa.
The School is small and cheap. We had many encounters where the school property broke by itself in front of the students. The teachers don't respect the students and put way too much work and pressure on their shoulders. Many teachers make the students feel very uncomfortable. I do NOT recommend this school.
