Had AkRon roofing do the roof on my house and Quanset. After giving them around $30000 for a roof that is exceptional, the owners attitude changed when I had concerns about holes that were put in the shingles due to the roofers.  Not to mention my lightning rods were placed at the bottom of my roof (serving absolutely no purpose).  I purchased a roof that had a 50 year life, but got a roof that had holes in them. After bringing this up with the owner, his attitude towards me was as if I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. We did come to an agreement to patch the holes, however they patched them with silicone which would mean I would have to repatch them at around 10 years.  After going back and forth, they finally replaced the damaged shingles, but not after a lot of stress and frustration.
The roofers did a great job and left the place clean, other than misfiring a few nails and placing the lightning rods where they shouldn't have been, but if you use AkRon, my advice to you is to hold the remainder of your bill until you are 100% satisfied that all issues have been rectified..... And do not deal with Rodney, he gives the vibe that you are an idiot.

My first time getting a roof replaced and they were great; super helpful, knowledgable and answered all our questions. Installers were great, professional and the work was well done. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid roofing company.

We were so impressed with AKRoN Roofing.  They were here to do an estimate within an hour of us calling them and we had our quote a few hours later. It was such a positive experience and it was a matter of days between calling for an estimate and our roof being completed.  They were very knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend them.

It was a tough job - and the crew did it very well and in very poor weather conditions.  Excellent work ethic, and the roof looks fantastic.

Akron did an excellent job replacing our cedar shakes with hail and wind resistant shingles which is essential in Calgary; they don't even offer "disposable" low end product. The quote was detailed and they provided in depth information on all of the options.  Very knowledgeable and experienced group with friendly professional service.  The project was completed on time and on budget as promised.  Even better they were able to schedule it for when we were away for a weekend; the only signs I've found that they were on site are a beautiful looking roof, and ONE nail.  I heartily recommend Akron Roofing.
