When we went here for the first time, we had a great experience, second time around not so much. The food is good but they are missing more fresh salad options. The sushi is the best part. This time when we went they charged us a 15% service fee. We were a group of 6, split the bill and both of us were charged the service fee. Went 3 weeks ago with 3 people and we were not charged the 15% service fee. They should at least let you know before hand, it's very sketchy. With the service fee it ends up being too expensive. I don't think we would be returning. There are other good sushi all you can eat establishments for a better price.
The food is absolutely amazing every single time we visit. Our go-to for reliable, affordable, and tasty, all you can sushi. Satisfies our cravings every time! The staff is quite friendly, checking on us regularly. Would highly recommend anyone come and visit! Thank You Akita Sushi
Love this place! Got the Dragon roll and it was fresh and delicious. Great all you can eat menu - large selection of appetizers, main dishes, bento boxes, noodles and so much more. A taste for everyone. Great atmosphere!
Akita Sushi has an expansive menu with a lot of great tasting items. We had the Spicy Crab Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Philadelphia Roll, and all were delicious. The cheese wontons were also great. We dined in and the service was incredibly fast. Will definitely be going again.
It's a very self-serve environment, didn't interact with the staff much besides them bringing our food. The sushi was pretty good, the all you can eat selection wasn't amazing, but overall good!
Akita has been my forever favourite for all you can eat sushi in the Vaughan region. It has great selection of sushi rolls, appetizers , tempura and deep fry. However Dessert mainly has fried banana and different flavours of ice cream. My recommendation would be add to it. Also the portions are slightly smaller than other all you can eat. Must have: Cheese wontons or Butterfly Wontons!
There are lots of options foe those who don't eat fish or meat. The meat options are tasty. The portions are small enough that you can finish it therefore no extra charge. I'm told the fish options taste good too. Service could be better because they aren't friendly and I notice they stereotype a bit with their customers. Place is clean. Food comes quick. But unfortunately can't go as often as I'd like because it's too expensive. That it something they definitely can fix. Their prices aren't great..
Not too bad. Solid price for lunch on a Sunday. The Akita roll was great but didn’t feel like there were that many options regarding the rest of the menu. Shrimp tempura could have been better. The deep fried shiu Mai was also alright. Service was good. This is more of a 3.5 than a 3.Recommended dishesCheese Wontons, Akita, Spicy Salmon Sushi
I have ordered take-out multiple times. This time we chose dine-in. 70/80 dollar take out feeds generously 7 people, with takeout. 200+ barely enough for 4 with dine in. Not to mentioned missed orders and servings. Conclusion: never again inside, especially considering there are other vendors nearby and other Asian restaurants not far from it. Overall: mediocre.
Not a bad place to have lunch. The sushi is decent. Place is located conveniently. Would recommend to others. Orders have been taking longer lately. Order times used to be 15mins and order was ready. Lately orders have been taking 30-45 minutes. The quality of the food has room for improvement. Until then 4 stars and I’ll still be a returning customer.
