Delicious food. Came on a recommendation, which was worth it. The voodoo fries and brisket taco are amazing. The wings were less of a hit with me, as they are more of a taco sauce coating flavor, but I'd absolutely go back for the fries and tacos.
We had a wonderful lunch today - the Food & Service by Libby was wonderful. We always enjoy the positive atmosphere and fun decor. I usually get the nachos because they have a delicious flavor explosion but today I was feeling the AK’s Burger. It was cooked to perfection and served with fries. Don’t sleep on the caramelized onions and do add the cheese! Phillip enjoyed the Saudero Tacos because they are his favorite! and if you find yourself here and see beignets offered, get them! They are only offered at special times and are AMAZING.
I’ve been an AK’s lover since the gas station days! Always friendly and knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere, awesome food. Definitely different than anything else you’ll find in Walla Walla. Kudos to Chef Bopp and his crew!
This was my first time at AK Mercado. The restaurant's location on Main Street is ideal. The table arrangements and set up are nice and the restaurant's atmosphere is quite pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband and I shared the veggie burger and it was very good. In fact, my husband said this is one of the very best veggie burgers he's had. As you can see from the photos, this veggie burger is not the burger imitation type that tries to emulate a real beef burger. Instead, this is more like the traditional, old fashioned veggie burger. The fries are fresh and taste wonderful. There's a dill flavored dipping sauce that pairs quite well with the fries. One suggestion is: we'd like to see more veggie options offered. So far I've noticed the veggie tacos and veggie burger as the current options available. We look forward to next time at AK Mercado. Thank you.
Phenomenal Tacos. Seriously, so freaking delicious. They are good size as well, so if you buy the 3 for $12, they will leave you satisfied. Staff is super friendly and amazing, as well as the atmosphere. Great way to spend a Saturday Afternoon. I did not like their pastries unfortunately. 8m sorry, I really wanted to like them! It's probably my fault though. I did the $4 desert sampler, thinking I was going to get a small bite size portion of 4 or 5 of their dessert options. Unfortunately, for me I got 2 full sized desert options. Both are deserts that don't interest me. So that was just luck of the draw.
The prickly pear margaritas perfect and the blend of spices with each dish was on point. Very friendly staff and fun atmosphere
We had a wonderful night sitting on the patio with our dogs. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. A lot of the menu is a la carte which makes it easy to try different things and share. The drink menu is also fun.
They are the best. Hot Tody, Chicha morada and an absolutely fabulous St. Louis Cheese cake! Last stop on our Walla Walla adventure on a cold November evening! Spot on!Food: 5/5
Amazing tacos! This is authentic PLUS flavor explosion. I typically go for strict plain authentic but this was just spot on deluxe.
I had 3 different types of tacos and they were pretty good but just not what I expected. It’s a very cheffy taco if that makes sense. Sometimes less is more and idk it was just a miss for me. Very nice place and downtown is cool.
