I wish there were more social media exposure for this place! Aji Dog quietly opened not long ago and I only found out when I was randomly walking by. Price was fantastic, food was tasty! Strongly recommend. I got the Cali dog $6.99 + $1 to motoyaki it with mayo and cheese +$1.50 for can of coke. All just under $10. The hotdog bun is on the hard/crispy side so be careful of scraping the roof of your mouth. Overall it was filling for a lunch meal. From my photo, you can see the hotdog is sliced up on the bottom. So it's not a whole weiner. I personally don't mind though

The best hot dog spot in Metrotown. The Teriyaki Chicken dog and Tori No Karaage are awesome. Made hot and fresh. Next time will try their Tonkatsu Dog. Staff are friendly and the place is clean.

Nice place and good price. However not cool with the idea that the hot dog is sliced and topped up with regular chicken teriyaki. I would just stick with japadog

As others have mentioned, the portion is quite generous given that it is a hot dog after all. However, they seem to overdo it to the point where the sauce is everywhere and it is really hard to eat it without making a complete mess. What is not mentioned are the sides, the Chicken Karrage is absolutely delicious and perfectly fried to be juicy.

Finally they are open in Metrotown! One of the best Japanese style hot dog I ever tried. Very nice hotdog! Love it!!!!

Aji Dog Metrotown is tasty! My partner and I split the California Dog and the Beef Yakisoba Dog. Both were delicious! The Beef Yakisoba Dog had the neat addition of noodles inside, which paired well with the salty flavour of the hot dog and the beef. For a surprising price of $6.99, I can see myself coming back to this quaint little restaurant again in the future.

Tasty enough, good price and generous portion but unnecessarily messy. The sauce is drizzled all outside the bun, you cannot eat this with your hands.Food: 3/5
