This Company was engaged by my employer, to move my belongings abroad. The van arrived 90 minutes after the scheduled time, but the driver had phoned earlier to let me know he would be late and he explained the reasons. As he was late due to circumstances beyond his control, and I had blocked off the entire morning, I was not particularly upset. When the two men eventually arrived, their quiet air of competence was immediately apparent. Being unused to moving abroad with so much stuff, I greatly miscalculated the amount of packing boxes I would need. The lads took this in their stride as they had plenty of extra boxes. Can’t yet speak for what will happen at the receiving end of my belongings’ journey, but the courtesy and efficient competence of the two men who handled my move allows me recommend this Company to anybody moving abroad. ******DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*********** Having recently moved from Dubai to UAE shipping agent employed the services of AIM for the last leg of the transportation from Uk port to my house in Ireland. This company are not knowegable about the importation of good into Ireland. I have a motorbike which I have been trying to register and Irish revue and customer will not allow me to register for the duty to be paid as they need a customs clearance document known as a SAD document. Having asked Aim for this several times they insisted that this was not needed despite me telling them this is the only document customs and revenue would accept, I contacted the agent handling with my case Vivian who couldn’t have been more Unhelpful and just downright rude,. Several times I had to ask her to stop getting aggressive with me on the phone. I have had to employ the services of a local customs agent to do the job that Aim should have done and guess what ? Yes the SAD document is needed. Anyway I recommend not using the service of this company. They need training in customer service and local regulations around the importation of vehicles into Ireland
