Here’s a simple and easy review for your convenience: Pictured and in my video is PACKAGE 2 of their family platters. It cost us roughly $80 and fed 4 of us well. That’s roughly $20 per person. The interior of the business is on the low end however that is because the food is on the high end. High quality fresh foods cooked quickly and served in time. We walked in and waited about 15 minutes for our food. So not bad! They aren’t a very popular restaurant from what it seems so you’ll likely have no issue finding space to be seated. Washrooms are tucked away in the back and for those who are Muslim: they have prayer mats for your convenience. I would recommend this place. Tasty foods, cheap restaurant prices and at the end of the day, you support a whole family with your purchase. Not bad I’d say. Also: from my brief understand of other reviews, do not take out. It seems like perhaps they portion a lot less.
Reasonably priced authentic family run business. Ordered chicken Tandoori and Shami kebabs combos. Comes with rice, salad, Nan and sauces. Everything tasted well. Lady at the counter/cook very friendly to deal with. Recommend.
See the photos we spent $104 + HST for!! They have ridiculously reduced the quantity of food. I called to ask reason & they hung up twice and tried to fool me as I didn’t know. Instead of offering better service and apologies they told me do whatever you want. I have bought food from same location multiple times before and never had issues We ordered platter#3 $104.00 worth and all we got was small 6x6 box of salad and 2 boxes of 6x6 rice, Is this called large rice and salad?? Try from Watan Kaboob and see how large rice and salad look’s like. I will for sure complaint further to BBB and others
Owner I presume was so sweet and kind. The food was delicious. The passion fruit homemade drink was unbelievably
Tasty, fresh and clean. One lady show! 100% authentic afghan. Almost like home food. Kids loved it. Parking: Plenty of parking.. Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors however someone need to open the doors wife foe wheelchairs. Dietary restrictions: Just ask lady at the restaurant will prepare!
Bought a family platter from here today because I saw some good reviews online and we wanted a change from our usual spots Bamiyan and Pamier Kabob. The reviews were spot on as this is deservedly a 5 star spot. Great portion size for the price and really good quality meat. Chicken was juicy and flavourful. The rice, naan and sauces were really good. We started digging in before I remembered to take photos. We'll definitely be eating here again.
