Affordable Waterdown Self Storage

This place was awful. The owner seemed friendly enough at the beginning, but anytime I took my trailer out, my spot would be gone. Every time I would have to call him, wait around for him to figure things out, then park in some other spot. After several camping trips I came back to find my 30' spot taken up with a small minivan, so I parked in the only spot available. I then called him to let him know. He told me to go back and move my trailer. He didn't ask, he demanded in a very rude manner. It turned into a pointless argument as there was nowhere else for me to park. He also had left a pile of garbage in front of my trailer over the winter which he assured me would be moved. In the spring it was not moved so I had to move it myself. It turned out that it was a great house for mice as they scurried away as I cleaned up the owner's trash. So if you want storage that is not guaranteed and is behind a pile of garbage, then this place is perfect!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. As mentioned below, the owner allows others to park in your space even if you only take your trailer out for a few days. When confronted, the owner makes YOU feel like the bad guy and takes zero responsibility for making mistakes. If I'm paying for an entire season, then my spot shouldn't be taken out from under my nose. What am I expected to do with my trailer upon my return then? The other issue is that the owner has all the trailers crammed in so tightly that it takes a lot of maneuvering just to get in and out of the spot. I witnessed another couple completely unable to get their trailer out of their spot due to the extreme cramming! Perhaps at one point this place used to be good, but the owner is clearly just greedy now and will sacrifice good customer service and reliability just to make a couple extra quick bucks. Please avoid this place at all costs.

A bit of a musty smell and you must contact the owner to get in but the owner is great and the price is amazing overall great deal

The name says it all, affordable storage. The owner is friendly, and the place is very clean and well monitored. With access around the clock.
