Story

Adorit is a retail store located at 153 york St in Ottawa's Byward market. Adorit houses a fabulous collection of Canadian made and fair trade clothing and accessories. What is extra special about our designers is that they create unique one of a kind pieces made up of recycled and organic materials. Every two weeks we receive new items so come on in and check out our Boutique. And we're the shop behind the Ottawa #ethicalsummer challenge!

Locally made, slow fashion and all ethical clothing , jewellery and accessories for men , women and children. All unique, one of kind creations using sustainable materials such as hemp , bamboo, organic cotton , soy and up cycled materials.

What an awesome store! You can tell Emma the owner really cares about people and the planet. I feel great about everything I buy there, I know it's organic, fair trade, eco-friendly, zero waste etc. Always have a nice time when I go there.
I love finding gems here - especially the clothing and jewellery. So many of my staples are from Adorit. I love supporting zero waste companies and local small business.
Was introduced to this local boutique during COVID-19 when my access to recycled clothing stores disappeared. I have been totally converted. The clothing is amazing,so comfortable, completely ethically and consciously made and sourced. And the owner is a total delight. Loved this place and will make it my go-to for clothes from now on. And their online store makes shopping during this strange time very accessible.

Adorit is an abolute gem in Ottawa’s Byward Market! It’s an amazing little shop with all kinds of eco-friendly, fair trade, organic, sustainable products from Canada and around the world. There’s clothes and jewelry and all kinds of random beautiful things that make this store a wonderful place to buy gifts. I have things that I bought there years ago that I still enjoy today. Emma is always so friendly and helpful and she genuinely cares about helping the planet. You can trust the things you buy at her store to be the real deal.
All Canadian made with a variety of eco-friendly fabrics. As a professional who is looking for good quality basics, there were more than a few hidden amongst more casual and colourful pieces. Definitely worth the visit!
The shop owner is a delight, as are the staff. It’s a small cute boutique, offering Canadian made clothing. As well as hemp fabrics and unique finds. Highly recommend them!!!!
This boutique is great mostly because of the customer service and positive vibe. The owner is super lovely and very knowledgeable about the products! Half of the store is fair trade products from around the world and half of the store is Canadian-made stuff. I loved the jewelry selection.
Emma the owner and her staff offer amazing service and the clothes you find at the store are gems . The collection she carries are great including smocking lily, Nomad, Buttercream, Mika and lots more.
