Worst place to go. Doesn’t deserve any star. Today is Monday Aug 19 2024 and was given pastries that expired on August 24 2024. That whole pile, the food expired last year, many months back. Is this the way you’re going to treat those in need. Ridiculous. All this is garbage. Rather go without than to be sick. Please be kind and remove all the food that’s not good to consume
I have been to this place thrice and I would really like to appreciate their work , i am a student and new to Scarborough without job , I was finding it hard yo manage my expenses.Honestly, the whole team is so kind and dedicated, they try there level best to help you out. You get the fresh produce items like milk , eggs , fruits , vegetables, bread and much more . May God Bless them all for helping the people in need.
This place is great for food bank! Be aware that you need to enter by the back door. And also make sure to book an appointment, because they get really busy sometimes. Just show up there during the week, bring your documents and book an appointment.nThe staff was really committed to help everyone and I was able to get some good food that was essential such as fruits, milk,rice, vegetables.nThank you so much
We got some food stuff from this Food bank yesterday. Unfortunately they gave us the expired stuff. I’m deeply disappointed with this food bank.nI wonder how health services let you do it.
This place has no sense of friendliness. People are rather cranky here. Little items of variety here. Tho they do give out necessities like vegetables, fruits, milk, meat, and eggs. They unnecessarily take forever to process you at the front desk. The dates for pickups they give to you are way too spaced out. But hey, free food. Lol.
