Commuteride aims to make Treasure Valley a better place to live by providing a range of commuting options that reduce traffic congestion on the roadway.

Story

The oldest multi-employer vanpool program in the country is right here in the Treasure Valley. For over 35 years Ada County Highway District’s Commuteride Vanpools have been crisscrossing the Treasure Valley helping commuters get to and from work. We strive to make the Valley a better place to live by providing commuting options for residents that reduce traffic congestion on our roadways. We support and encourage residents to leave their cars at home to enjoy smarter alternatives that reduce stress, save money, and increase community connections.

Mission

Our mission is to promote smart commute options through education, rideshare services, and effective partnerships. Our purpose is to reduce roadway wear and tear, future transportation capacity needs, and air quality pollution in Ada County.

We strive to be the premiere rideshare agency as well as Transportation Demand Management (TDM) experts in the Treasure Valley, to change the commuting choices people make in our community, and to improve financial stability by maximizing and diversifying revenue streams.

Products

We operate one of the nations oldest and largest vanpool commuting services.

We also provide a Rideshare platform that helps likeminded commuters find each other to share a carpool to and from work.
