This is the worst storage facility I have ever dealt with. Virtually impossible to rent the unit -had to wait for the guy to get in office to get their lock for the unit. Never received the contract by email or mail. Had it set up on auto pay for an estate I was handling. and that was not working -- Was late paying the unit, having covid for the month, and they had it going to auction. I called emailed and tried to pay it online and nothing worked. I finally got a return call two days before and he took the info over the phone. He did erase the lock cut and admin fees which should have not been on there to begin with. I emptied the unit had to wait three weeks to get the 25.00 lock refund. This was the smallest unit they offer. I would not recommend this facility for storage at all. No human in office there ever and the signs all state someone is in office during business hours. Very poor management.
Quick to rent and cool managers good prices and security. Would definitely recommend to any of my redding peeps
I’m currently filing a claim against Ace Storage in Redding They stole my belongings after telling me to make a 3 hour drive to pay my late fees. They called me and apologized that my belongings were gone . She then called me back in an hour said she was able to collect some of my things . I’m livid . They had no right to take my things . They are now telling me to come pick up the stuff asap before her boss sees it . DONT RENT A STORAGE HERE THEY ARE THEIVES
Not a good place to rent from. They have a serious rodent and insect problem. I have caught homeless people sneaking out of the gate when I would leave so clearly the security gate isn't very secure, and the worst part is, security will come and harass the tenants telling them to hurry up and leave yet the homeless are able to stay for free and for as long as they want. Hmm.....
I love how easy it was to rent one . I had to do it late at night on the kiosk and it worked just like it said . Only one flaw, I wish they stayed open later than 9 . Not that big of deal for most people . Just us late night people . They supply lock and have reasonable prices
What I like is the fact that I didnt have to talk to a live person and if I did all I had to do is push the help key at the kiosk and a live a friendly live person would come on asking me if I needed help... in which I did because I forgot my gate code! All I had to do was walk up to the kiosk machine and I was able to rent a unit right then and there! It even dispensed a lock and keys for me to use. My rate did go up alitle but that wasnt until after renting my unit for almost a year! I like this place!
I went to pay my storage bill the 1st of Dec. I told the person at Ace that I will be moving my stuff out by the 20 as I found a place and would be moving in then. I asked if I pay up to the 20th or for the month. I was told for the month and AFTER I move he would check the unit and then mail my 25.00 deposit and the difference. Well all I got was my deposit and told that they do not reimburse for the month. They even stated that I did not move out until the 26. WRONG AND I RECORED MYSELF RETURNING THE KEYS. SO IF ANYONE USES ACE STORAGE DO NOT MOVE YOUR ITEMS TILL THE END OR LIKE ME YOU GET SCREWED.
They lost my reservation and then didn't have the size storage I needed that night so I was stuck with a Uhaul full of stuff until the next day when I found another storage. I had to play for an extra day with Uhaul.
Good place friendly clean and affordable for thehe most part
Administration fee? Lame...it's called your job. I have an administration fee also, it's gonna cost you exactly what it costs me to pull out my money.
