One of our favourite local restaurants. The drinks- Down By the Bay- were delicious and strong. Great variety on the menu , great portions and delicious. Our favourite is the Carbonara. Service was fantastic as usual and we love the patio. Very nice ambience outside and inside. Highly recommend.
Great date night for myself and the lovely lady on a Friday night. The atmosphere was warm it’ used to be an old Hamilton bank that was renovated and the customer service was impeccable. Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had and would highly recommend. I’d eat everything on that menu and will be going back again. Only small complaint is that finding parking was slightly difficult, just keep in mind that there isn’t a parking lot.
Classy place in a beautiful building with tons of character and great cocktails. The food is creative and features quality ingredients. The same owner and similar inspiration to the menu of The French. It's on the pricier side but it's worth it for a night out, date night, or a casual business meeting. Will be back to try the menu more thoroughly.
What a delicious meal!! Start to finish. Went for our anniversary and they definitely treated us right. This was my first time but will not be my last. Pictured in the photos is mushroom and truffle risotto and the bundt cake.
Had brunch Saturday morning, what an absolute pleasure! Beautiful building, well-appointed interiors. Excellent food, drinks and service - the way a restaurant should be! This is where you take your friends when you want to impress, in a casual atmosphere.
The wife and I went on our Valentine’s Day dinner date Saturday afternoon and had an exceptional time with a delicious meal. This is our second Valentine’s Day dinner date at Aberdeen Tavern and it has become a gem of a restaurant for us on special occasions. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and a superb kitchen. Had the feature special, as show in the photo, was divine.
Service was fantastic and very attentive. The price fix menu for brunch was a nice selection of choices for any palate. Join them!
Went here for Valentines. Nice presentation of food but the mains lamb and steak options were a bit underwhelming. Service was a little slow but server was very nice. The app and desert were very good tho!
Amazing service, awesome desserts, always a great time. Love the ambiance of this little tavern.
A very different kind of eating venue. Real candles, cloth napkins, dimly lit. Was a bank originally, the vault was used as a private dining area at one point which sounds cool. The food and service was excellent. Very tasty and friendly. The steak melted in my mouth like butter.cooked to perfection. Good wine and beer selection. Parking on street, no lots nearby. Went back for brunch recently. Great breakfast sandwich and a glass of cotes du Rhone . Made for another memorable experience in dundern.
