I had appointment with this health centre at 11am, the front desk reception called asking me to come at 10:45, I came on time at 10:30, and still waited for 1 hour to called me in to see the doctor. I don’t understand why asking me to come early and still wait for so long. When I ask them why they just told if you can’t wait we can make another appointment. Of course still have to wait. If you have other choices Don’t come here!!!
I'd definitely give a negative 10-star if I could. Dr. Foo It literally makes me sick to call this female a doctor is THE WORST medical practitioner I've ever met. She absolutely has no professionalism let alone basic sympathy and caring for the patient. Here's my personal story sharing with anyone would like to try their luck with this place: - I’ve been waiting for my MRI since the very beginning of January, 5 months passed and I haven’t got any update. Called the clinic a couple of times to follow up the process and was told to patiently wait. I called the hospital myself last week and surprisingly found out that the hospital has already sent notification to both clinic and Dr. Foo back in January and February TWICE to notify my test had been booked. As my condition’s worsening during the time with all those months-waiting wasted, I requested an explanation from the clinic. All I was simply told was that they never got the notification from the hospital. Just plain excuse with zero apology. In the end, as a patient I had to book the appointment myself and notify the clinic, which is supposed to be the other way around. - In the meantime I’m also waiting for my specialist surgeon appointment referred by this doctor. As again it hasn’t been confirmed in 5 months. I had to contact the specialist myself because the clinic straight-up told me that “it’s not their job to contact the specialist”. I guess lying down with dogs must rise up with fleas since not a single time I could reach to the specialist and my voicemails never got responded. When I raised my concern to Dr. Foo, she sarcastically assailed me “Do you think you’re normal to call the specialist so many times?!” In the condition of no one’s ever picking up the phone or responding voicemail I called once a week only. - My last appointment was meant to get an update but after 1 hour LATE from the appointment, I still haven’t got any phone call from the clinic or the doctor. As I have a meeting to attend to where the phone won’t be accessible, I had to call the clinic. When I suggested to reschedule my appointment to next morning, the receptionist refused and deliberately put my phone on hold for another 15 minutes when I already specifically told her that I’m already running late and can’t wait any longer. When I finally got connected to Dr. Foo, her dismissive attitude and callous expression was the last straw breaks the camel’s back. In the confrontation, she couldn’t answer any of my questions. Instead, I was getting shouted with “Then why don’t you go to the hospital?!”, “Go to the emergency then!!”, “You can just find yourself another family doctor!!!”. At the moment of typing above words, I’m still shaking in disbelieve that how on earth CPSBC allows such practitioner occupying the medical resource and abusing the patients??? This is not mere venting but a serious alert to future individuals seeking for a family doctor for themselves or their beloved ones. This is utterly obnoxious and inhumane and no one should ever be treated this way. I sincerely hope anyone who sees this is blessed with having a responsible doctor aside as well as truly wish this toxic clinic will rot in hell.
Dr Brian Ng has been looking after my family and I over the past few years. He always tries his very best to address our concerns and I am beyond thankful for his help, his patience and his kindness. It is also lovely that the clinic can serve clients in both English and Cantonese too. Linda the receptionist has also been very helpful as well. I’d love to express my gratitude to the Aberdeen health centre team for their time and effort in looking after patients even when they seem to have a very high work volume.
Good luck getting thru on the phone lines. My doctor is amazing but I followed them from a different clinic…….
Worst Clinic Receptionist in Canada EVER - I have been their patient since 2012. Their attitude has been getting worst and worst. Not that I am looking for 5-star customer service but at lease they could be less rude. I rarely complain but this time was unacceptable. I went there last week trying to see if I could walk-in for my skin allergy because it got pretty bad over night. The lady in reception was very rude and told me no walk in. So I asked if I could make an appointment. And she was like “we don’t take new patience anymore” so I tell her that I am an existing patient. She unwillingly take my appointment and when I double check with her the appointment time, she pretended that she didn’t hear me the first time so I asked again, and she ignored me again, and I asked her the THIRD TIME and she replied rudely. Worst clinic in Richmond.
This is kind of a late review, but a few years ago i came here for an issue. It was near their closing time i guess, but I was put into a room waiting for a doctor to come. and the wait time ended up being 3.5 hours. A doctor finally came by and helped me because he was saw me as he was walking by and was wondering what I'm still doing in the closed and empty office.
I could give it zero if I can. I was hesitant to make an appointment due to unpleasant reviews but I need to see my family doctor who moved here recently. The receptionist asked me what my phone number was and I gave her the number. Then she said my home phone number… when I said I don’t have a home phone number she went crazy. You gave me your home phone number if I asked so, she said. But she didn’t ask for home phone number. I did not pick the fight though. I guess she must have got a bad day. Nonetheless she should not be acting like that for whatever reason. Hopefully she can understand that and keep her attitude away from her work my question is is she can read the reviews and understand she is making mistakes.
I've always been treated well at this clinic and it's been 10+ years now. The Receptionists are extremely busy, so stress levels are high but they've taken care of me with no issues.
Like everyone said, the reception here is extremely bad, extremely rude obnoxious receptionists, told me to go to the center to drop off my form then told me I cannot see the doctor and I have to make an appointment for next week, says they are fully booked but no one in waiting area and also says doctor is not here but goes to the back and shows the doctor my form, made me waste an entire trip to Richmond. it is very stressful, but doctor Brian is a good doctor. My only advice, change the entire reception team. Then your reviews will go from 1-star to at least 4-stars.
Receptionist is extremely rude. looks at the computer and pretend everyone is invisible while patients are standing right in front of her. Dr. George tseng is arrogant and refuses to listen. I have ongoing health issue that when my health condition changes, I’m highly aware of it. Yet, when I tell “doctor” how I feel which he did not even ask, words will go in from his left ear and exit from the right like nothing has happened. Also, He refused to refer me to a specialist while my ongoing health issue requires frequent visit to endocrinologist. I HIGHLY do not recommend anyone to visit this clinic. I don’t think a healthy person who enters this clinic is able to put up with this type of customer service and doctor-patient service, let alone someone who is sick. I never thought about writing review on google. This is the only time in my life that I want to spend the time to spread my words to everyone. As a patient, If you want to be treated professionally —> DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC As a human, if you want to be treated with respect —> DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC Have a nice day.
