Abbott's Frozen Custard

One of the older locations with the old school custard stand design you don’t see much anymore. Been coming to this location for decades and it’s always been one of the best Abbott’s locations to visit. Chocolate almond is a Rochester classic, but try the Vanilla Almond, too!

Great vanilla custard and sundaes! Their peanut butter is perfect and they serve ice cream for dogs too!

Great custard at a great price. The parking lot can get tricky on hot days. I wish they had an option for pick up and/or delivery for when we can't make it out with the kids.

I love Abbotts Frozen Custard. My favorite is Choc Almond Custard I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and their smiling faces that greet you. Unfortunately, I’m sad to say …. I picked up a pint of Chocolate Almond Ice cream loaded with almonds as always and enjoyed it at home until … I was attacked by an almond that still had a shell attached that shot like a shard of glass that pierced through a “healthy tooth” as my dentist explained and split it in half Sad to say that my passion for this flavor of ice cream costed me approx $700 after insurance That was the most expensive ice cream I’ve ever had. Please be careful as rare as this probably is to happen you never know.

I know why this place is busy, the ice cream is awesome! We don't live in the area and stumbled upon it. Next time we are in Rochester I plan on going again!

Delicious place to go!! I’m around the corner and I’m lactose intolerant but it’s worth taking my pill! Black raspberry is a must to order!! It’s amazing! I definitely would recommend staff is wonderful and ver respectful!! Thank u all I will be returning!!

This place is awesome, people are friendly and service was quick. This is the best custard around. A must visit place I am sure you will return.

This Abbott's is the Best. Our family's glad its never moved from this location. Its our go to place for after school and weekend desserts. So many flavors to choose from! Never any weird names for flavors that leave you guessing what your getting like at other ice cream businesses. Just great flavors here here everyday. Very friendly too.

Nothing beats Abbotts, but man has it gotten expensive. A kiddie cone and a sundae shouldn't be $13. Geesh!

I should have taken photos, but it was do good I forgot. Seriously, the custard was fantastic!!! We had traditional hot fudge sundaes and they were great. Lots of fudge, very rich tasting custard and topped with a mound of nuts.
