A Leap of Taste located in Klamath Falls, Oregon is a gourmet coffee shop and deli.

Story

A Leap of Taste is an independently owned and operated café that offers exceptional beverages and food, a unique shopping experience and a welcoming environment. More than that, A Leap of Taste supports young adults through an on-the-job training program that strives to teach students workplace ethics, healthy choices, community participation and self-efficacy.

When possible, A Leap of Taste carries items that are local and sustainable. Items include whole bean coffee, free-range beef, honey, cheeses, cured meats, bulk spices, chocolates and gifts. We carry products from Fresh Green Organics, Aerie Acre, Flying T beef, Potential Farms, Café Mam, The Good Bean, Pickled Planet, The Green Blade Bakery and more.

A Leap of Taste hosts an Open Mic night each month. From time to time live performances, community events and tastings are scheduled. Please check our calendar for the latest news on our upcoming events. Catering and space for private parties or meetings can be provided. Please contact us for more details.

Happened to stop in here on a road trip and was definitely worth the stop! The space is really cute, and we the staff really seemed to be at ease and were awesome.nFor a vegan meal we did the rainbow stack and beet salad - both were delicious!
Why am I having my morning coffee in Klamath Falls!? Wouldn't you like to know? That's why we're here...nnWhenever you travel as much as I do, you never know when you're going to have a layover with a new adventure. For me, that day was today. So A Leap of Taste gets the review.nnIn summary, it was as expected, which is a good thing. It has a small town feel that seems very important to the community. It's located right next to the downtown event space, which happened to be hosting a daytime Halloween event for the kids. It made the views quite pleasant from the front of the cafe.nnThe coffee was great, the food was also good, even if it did take a bit longer than I normally expect, but that's what you get in small towns. The service is a bit slower, but that's because people are having conversations with people they actually know. It enhances the atmosphere as long as you're not in a rush.nnThe people were pretty inquisitive about my presence, with almost everyone stopping to chat for a while. I had the time, so I waxed poetic with the locals about topics ranging from musical instruments to SNL.nnExperiences like this aren't always available, so when you find one, it's best to write about it. Great visit.
Such a cute spot, definitely recommend stopping here! I'm vegan and the rainbow stack and oat milk London fog was so tasty! The staff were so chill and friendly and overall great atmosphere
If you are looking for some Yummy Sandwiches this is your place. Loved the fresh ingredients! The hostess was very helpful with her suggestions.nThe smoothies were a little bit of a let down compared to what I have had at other places but still they were healthy and fresh!
Food tastes frozen and microwaved unfortunately. I’ve been here three times now before I reviewed just in case it was off days or just a bad dish. I haven’t had anything enjoyable thus far and unfortunately won’t be coming back. It’s a cute location though if you’re only interested in getting a lemonade or coffee.
