This small restaurant is very local, very personal, has unique and special dishes. The presentation is very fashionable. The food is real, honest, carefully constructed. The service is very friendly and helpful. Gluten-free was not a problem. Just to note, my French is terrible and their English is good but not all perfect. Not a problem but just to note that you might need to have some help understanding the menu and how it all works. I truly enjoyed the meal and the wines. It is fine dining in a casual atmosphere - especially on the patio which was lovely on a fine evening.
Peter was a friendly and capable waiter. Spoke some English. So we were happy about that. It was a little difficult to fit our three cars at the small space behind the restaurant. We were seated immediately. And offered a wide array of beer. He educated us on the Quebec beers and history. And when he wasn't sure of what he said he summoned a little lady from the kitchen to assist with interpreting. We appreciate that very much.
Excellent meal. Superb service. recommend. Beef tartar - fabulous. Creme Brule, exquisite. A delightful evening.

Went in for lunch and had an amazing experience . Great food and service !
I would come back again. The steak I ordered rare and came out nicely browned on the outside and rare on the inside. Mysis ordered ribs were falling off the bone and moist.Great restaurant and friendly to English speaking patrons. Food was prepared as ordered and tasty, nice presentation. Parking after 5:30 is free in lots. There was an outdoor concert last night and parking was tight at 6pm. Menu was all fresh and locally sourced.
Met up for lunch with a friend that I had not seen in a long time. Food was delicious, service was great as was the company, and the ambiance very pleasant. And the perfect weather for sitting outside. Friendly and attentive staff who speak English. Delicious lunch. Pleasant surroundings. A nice experience.
Wish I had more time in the morning to enjoy a hot prepared breakfast. Instead they ensured I had a to go pack ready in the common fridge for my early morning start. The common shower area was exceptionally tiny. All in I had read reviews prior to going and knew what to expect in terms of washroom in bedroom. Price may be a touch high relative to what else you can get in the city, though it is within walking distance of the train station which was nice.
I loved this bed and breakfast. It's an adorable set up and very comfortable. I was there for business and felt very well taken care of. And the restaurant is fabulous... Oh, and the chocolate bread loaf for breakfast is absolutely decadent. Loved it!
