A Changing Nest

About

An Eclectic Mix of Home Furnishings and Consignment Pieces.
We love hunting through antique and flea markets for one of a kind treasures.

Story

Life long residents of Bloor West Village, Diana and Gord Ross decided to embrace their passion for all things home-related by opening their own specialty furniture consignment shop, A Changing Nest on Annette Street in the heart of their community. With a wealth of experience in the retail home and garden décor field, Diana brings a natural flair for decorating, a keen eye for blending styles and a love for helping her clients find the right match for their household needs. Complimenting Diana’s artistic eye, Gord offers extensive knowledge of home design garnered from his many years in the television industry where he was the Director of Photography for multiple design shows including, Divine Design with Candice Olson, Home to Go with Peter Fallico, and One House Two Looks with Jason Cass and Jane Lockhart, to name a few.
With today’s economy, the everyday consumer is becoming more price conscious, while still looking for good quality furnishings, many are opting for creative ways to decorate. With our aging population comes a downsizing phenomena, which is producing some wonderful quality pieces becoming available in the market place. A Changing Nest offers a great solution to both sides of the equation, the buyer and the seller.

A gem in the Runnymede neighbourhood, “A Changing Nest” is a two-storey select shop of fine antiques and vintage collectibles. The shop interior is well-curated. Diana and her team were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Ps: I got a set of six vintage emerald Great Depression, double handle cups/ bowls along with swirl pattern for a good price. For sure I will make a return to this store in the future!
This is my favourite store in the Bloor West Village area. They have a wonderful curated mix of beautiful vintage pieces and new unique items which can work in any home. Diana is one of the most wonderful people you will ever meet.
Such a lovely store - beautiful, artist displays of interesting items. One of my all time favourite stores. Often buy presents there ... and a little something for my home too! Prices seem reasonable for the antique and older items that are offered. Diana is very knowledgeable and informative and friendly.
I've been shopping here since the store opened. It is a beautiful, joyful store. Always inspiring. Dianna and her staff are the kindest, nicest people you could hope to meet. There is a price point for everyone. My friends comment on everything in my home purchased from Dianne. Christmas at the store is magical.
This is a great consignment store you just want to spend the whole day here soaking up the great atmosphere and exploring all the treasures new and old. Its never the same the next time you visit. Not sure what others are talking about - the prices are amazing. I've gotten some truly great deals there. and Diana the owner is always so pleasant to deal with.
A very magical place, full of enchanting finds. One of a kind unique pieces of all shapes and sizes, old and new. Furniture, accessories, decor and more. Diana and the team are always warm and welcoming. A hidden gem in the city.
I have had the pleasure of working with this team for a number of years. They've sold plenty of my possessions through the store. They've assisted with interior design and staging. And they've helped with minor renovations. A pleasure to have them in the Bloor West / Junction / Baby Point neighbourhoods.
Amazing collection of vintage and new decor and furniture personally curated by the owner. Diana is friendly and her great taste is reflected throughout the store.
Great store but too expensive for my budget. This is upscale vintage consignment. Great displays. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. A fun browse but be prepared to spend if you see something good.
Adorable spot for country-chic interior decor and restored antiques! This boutique sells small home items dried lavender, soaps, pottery etc and furniture.
