A Cabin By The Stream

We only stayed for a night, but we had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin! It's exactly as adorable as it looks in the pictures. Chris stocked the cabin up with everything we could possibly need, from pots and pans to board games. We loved listening to the stream on the little balcony--we're from the NY area, so quiet isn't something we experience...ever. It really felt like our own home away from home. We went for the stargazing, but it happened to be overcast the night we stayed. Hope to be back soon and catch the stars on next visit :

Beautiful property with a lot of thoughtful details. Board games, puzzles, movies, binoculars, star charts, and a well equipped kitchen. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was very well heated given the colder temps outside during our stay. However, I can't give it 5 stars for several reasons. The beds were definitely camp beds and very uncomfortable bring your own pillows. There were huge ants EVERYWHERE. We had to be extra careful not to bring them home with us. We vacuumed after every meal to try to keep them at bay. My 6 ft tall husband hit his head on the entry way several times. It is very low and there is no caution marker. The firewood was all green and would not light - husband was disappointed there was no fire to be had. It was the only campfire he has ever failed to start. Our family had a great time, and there are plenty of things to do on-site and in the area.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay! This is the perfect place to relax with friends and family. A charming, cozy, and comfortable cabin with all the amenities of home. Spent some lovely evenings around the fire pit as a light snow fell and genuinely enjoyed simply appreciating the beauty of the area. A great place to stay and a perfect retreat! Great hosts and a great cabin!

Slightly on the expensive side but an amazing place, loved the cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean. Came here with a group of friends for stargazing at Cherry Springs. Although it was cloudy, there were a ton of activities/board games inside the cabin and in general, the surrounding was so beautiful. It is a great place for a peaceful weekend getaway, would definitely recommend.

My husband and I spent our 1st year anniversary here. I called Greg just a few days before with fingers crossed that they would have an opening. He asked our reason for visiting and suggested the cabin by the stream for our trip, since they have other properties. He helped us get the reservation set up and sent out directions and instructions for the cabin. Him and his wife Kate also sent a list of places to go , things to do and see as well as the best places to eat. They even included a specific list for that weekend that we were going to be there with activities to do. Although we never met in person, they went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable and special! They even included some surprises in our weekend though friends in the area that we met through their activity guide! We cannot say enough nice things about them ! We beyond enjoyed our trip to Potter county and will stay with them again next time we are in the area!

It was a cozy cabin with a stream however extremely over priced. There were so many cobwebs covering everything for the money you could at least once a week brush them down. The next extremely bad experience was we woke up to silverfish everywhere, now I give them credit for trying to clean up the mess but they were all over including my luggage. There was no offer of credit for all our inconvenience. There were games/videos but who wanted to hang out with the silverfish. We tried our best to make the best of it however this ruined our stay. The stargazing on the other hand, AMAZING. By the way I requested a refund/ credit from the owner only to be ignored

I stayed here for my 1st year anniversary and man we fell in love! We stayed for a week. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings and strong stream. Home is so cozy. Everything is provided including utensils except food. I would definitely come back. One draw back is trees block off view for stargazing but that's not their fault just a drawback.

Upon arriving to Coudersport, we met at the exact time, Bob, who escorted us to the cabin. He was friendly and showed us around the cabin to give us instructions about the place and then he informed us about the area and some touristy things to do. The cabin's ambiance was cozy and eclectic. It definitly is a quintessential cabin atmosphere. We were able to have the amenities of a full kitchen, games, puzzles, tv, a fire pit outside and a woodshed full of wood for our use. If you enjoy star gazing, the view is amazing! Coming from south eastern PA, I have never seen so many stars and their brightness. Cherry Springs Park has star gazing spots but you can still catch a glimpse from the balcony of the cabin or just sitting by the fire. It was a nice place to get away from the norm and relax with the comforts of home. I loved the vintage posters on the walls and ceilings. The cabin does have wifi which is a plus. The neighboring vacation cabin has children that like to play in the stream and driveway directly in front of the cabin. If you want privacy while you're outside during the day then this cabin is not for you, however there is another cabin which is completely secluded so check availability because the owners are fabulous people and Coudersport is a neat little town from the turn of the century.

Beautiful little cabin way out in the middle of nowhere with all the bare necessities. 20 minute drive to cherry point for star gazing and 50 mins from some great hiking. Very expensive including a $168 cleaning fee.

Small but well appointed and cozy. Very clean and has great atmosphere. The stream and outdoor seating are as nice as they look in the pictures. Highly recommended.
