It was fun and delicious first experience with Chinese hot pot with my husband for his birthday. We don’t think we could eat a lot of food so we went for lunch instead of dinner. Price is reasonable per person and the potions are good size and well quality. Staffs are helpful and friendly. We definitely go back again!  Photos are not all of what we get, I forgot to take the photo because I got excited!

Great place, hot pot was top notch! Love the all you can eat. I had the Szechuan broth which is never a miss. Only thing is they’re so busy if you need help with something it might be a little while until this notice you need help.

2022 June 4 If your looking for a decent all you can eat hot pot also known as shabu shabu you've come to the right place.  Large interior setting, tables are setup with electronic individual hot pots. A menu of over a hundred items for you to choose ranging from meat, seafood, vegetables and others.  You should try the cooked items found in the chef's specials it's own smaller menu. The skewers were very good.  Overall it was very good. Good value for the money. Would recommend trying.

The food was tasty and seemed quite fresh. You can customize your broth flavour with the sauces and it changes flavour as you cook your food. I like the individual pots and the ability to have unlimited sauces.Food: 5/5

I love coming to this location because the menu is big and there is a variety of sauces to choose from. The staff are always great.  Thsy also navigate the individuals that are struggling through downtown with ease and even tried standing in front of our both when an individual was being slightly unruly due to an apparent addiction.  Yes,  its located in an interesting part of downtown but there is free parking,  tons of food, and the staff will keep you safe.

Delicious! It was our first time visiting 97 Hotpot and we will be going back for sure!! Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing.

A great selection of things to from traditional to modern North American. Awesome staff with a great sense of humor. You make your own sauces, with over 25 different ingredients!

My boyfriend and I are usually here every couple of weeks. Best hotpot place by far! Great selections for price- both cold and hot/fried options. Definitely recommend the all you can eat which also includes free ice cream and unlimited selections from their menu. We have always had very kind service specifically, the younger male waiter that has worked their awhile due to his attention. We have noticed that when it is quite busy, there are more errors with being given the wrong foods and it’s difficult to get the staffs attention. However, they usually have limited staff on the floor for the whole restaurant and they are literally running  the entire time so I can’t fault them for that.  I have noticed some reviews mention the unsavoury location of the restaurant, but I would like to mention that despite some of the hardships of the area I have always felt quite safe in the restaurant!  The staff is always paying attention to the door and I have seen them deal with a magnitude of people. April 2022 Update- Still my favourite hot pot in all my travels. Great value even though prices have increased slightly. Lunch special for 2 was under $40 for great quality broths, ingredients and generous portions of meat. Sauce bar is always tidy and fully stocked. We always leave fully satisfied. Service is the best as they treat us like old friends.  Sept 2021 Update- So good to come back and eat here after an extended shut down for covid. Still amazing service even though some original staff have moved on. Inside has been renovated to add additional ventilation, booths and upgraded hotplates. Didn't get many photos as the kids couldn't sit still while eating but the lunch special was awesome, meat servings generous and great quality. Looking forward to doing the ayce one night. Still our favourite hot pot in town, 5/5 stars.  Our favorite hot pot restaurant. This place has a great and well stocked sauce bar, the best service and great ingredients. Might I add that this is the cleanest hot pot restaurant in town. Even though I mentioned great service already, the staff here are so awesome and friendly and this is the main reason we frequent here weekly.

One of the better ayce hot pot restaurant in the city. Lots of menu selections. Great service.
