8th Street Liquor Store

Poor customer service. I asked an employee for a recommendation for a non-hoppy beer, I happily bought the beer he recommended and when I tried it once I got home, it was one of the most happy beers I've ever had. Recently I tried ordering delivery from them and they cancelled every order i placed and never even let me know why my orders were cancelled. I'd recommend going to a different liquor store if possible.

This is a great location with a good selection. The staff have always been helpful, and even remembered my brand of beer and offered to get it from the back for me when they were out. Definitely better than any government liquor store!

The Eighth street liquor store in New West has been frequented by myself as well as my family for over five years. The staff may have changed over the years but the experience remains consistently positive. I have never felt unwelcomed or failed to find what I was looking for. Michelle and Ashley are the stand out employees at this location, always happy and helpful, even when they look a bit frazzled! You can't beat that with a stick!

I Go to Bavarian Haus restaurant with my friend, get a bottle of wine. We didn't finish it cause it was pretty sugary so they lady lets us take it with us, Stop off to this place to grab another bottle before we go home and the lady kicks me out for having open liquor in her store, I explain to her we just got back from Dinner and the bottle was from the restaurant and she says she doesn't care, refuses me service and kicks me out, Worst service I've ever seen, go to the pub next door and they didn't seem to care either.

LOL so it has changed its name again! I was going to write about how they were a couple years ago, and was so miffed when they scanned my driver's licence without asking for permission (they only asked for my ID. Didn't tell me they were going to scan it!). I hated them since and never went back. I hope they close shop soon.
