I frequent 7-11s to ensure that they are giving high-quality slurpees across the city of Winnipeg. I find it my responsibility to slurpee drinkers in this slurpee capital of the world. To my dismay, this location was the worst experience I have ever had. First of all, there was a drug deal happening right in front of the entrance! Second, there was a dirty homely patron complaining about getting their free refill. Lastly, the best flavours were not available- NO cream soda, NO grape. I had to suck it up and get an orange slurpee. Which I am moderately enjoying right now and is likely what motivated me to write this review. This experience has called up another bad memory I have of visiting this store which I should mention. I went to get some slurpees, of course, and the lady working coughed in my cup then asked for my money. I was going to consider buying a shiskabob, which looked really good because it was honey garlic and that is my favourite, but once I saw the lady with the phlegm-filled cough, I was deterred from the purchase which made me feel extreme dissonance. I give one star for the sugar content in the slurpee which is somewhat rectifying the negative consumption experience I had. Until they clean up the clientele which visit the store, the congeniality of the staff and offer the best flavours I will not be returning and recommend that no one else visits this location. I go here almost every day with my boyfriend, the people here are so nice and remember us always making jokes with us making us laugh. There nachos and slurpees are our favourite! They have such a good selection on food, candy, drinks and snacks. Way better then macs.
