Poor Service There is often not enough food to meet demand. The wait times to get more food can be atrocious. If there is enough food, it's cold. Most of the employees do not treat customers with respect or integrity. They often seem more annoyed that they need to serve people than anything. I have actively stopped going here, which is a shame because this used to be such a staple in the community. I went from feeling welcome and valued to unwelcome and unvalued. This is such a change from how the store used to feel.
A very good convenient store with with good customer service. You can stop in to gas up or buy meals for your trip.
It is the best place in Creston to get fried chicken and snacks. The store can get a bit crowded and busy on weekends and some of the stock gets low. The could pay more attention to the soda dispenser and cups as well as the coffee bar.
Stayed in Creston while traveling with my kids. We decided to stop into this 711 to get snacks and a pizza. 3 employees were working and not one of them seemed to have a clue about how to change the syrup in the fountain pop machine after a lady complained about how gross the pop was. The elderly woman working refused to refund her, saying the other cashier had to do it because it was his til. One of the other workers asked if she knew how to change the syrup and she straight up yelled at him that she can't life over 5lbs. She seemed annoyed when he asked her to show him and he'd lift it. The woman finally got her refund and as she was taking the pops to throw them out the old lady basically snapped at her saying she'll take them, basically assuming this customer was trying to scam for nasty no syrup pops. She was just extremely rude and her personality was so off putting that I will not ever visit this 711 again when passing through Creston.
I used to have so many problems with making purchases when June was working 7 or 8 years ago so I have boycotted 7-11. I started working night shifts so 7-11 is now my only option in the middle of the night. Last week I went there and noticed the lack of stocking the coffee and nacho station. I then went to purchase gas for my car which she was not able to do. I drove home with my gas light on hoping to make it as she couldn’t help me fuel my car. Today she refused a man who was being polite because he didnt have a mask. He told her he forgot and asked her for one. He had his face covered with his jacket and she told him to leave that she wouldn’t serve him. He was such a kind man! Tonight I bought some wedges and wanted nacho cheese with them. I worked a 12 hour shift and just wanted to eat something. I asked her if i waited patiently enough if she could refill it. And she said no. The early shift should of changed it. June is a complete nuisance to deal with and I am seriously thinking of avoiding 7-11 because of her…. again.
This used to be our go to 7/11. The last few times I’ve been in June specifically has been very rude. I didn’t have a mask and expected there to be some, she very rudely told me to leave and get a mask. I came back with a mask and asked for nachos, she said there wasn’t any cheese because morning staff didn’t fill it and she wasn’t going to. While I was in the store she angrily told another customer that she refused to serve her and would not be checking her out at the till with no mask on. Again, there are no masks available and at 11 o’clock on a Sunday with two people in the store you would think she could have made an exception. Even if she couldn’t, she doesn’t need to be so rude I’m upset that she has been allowed to treat customers this way for so long. She may need a bit of training in customer service.
We the people Boycotting this particular location until Wendy, the so-called manager, there decides to treat people equally . No matter what they believe in , a friend of my was targeted due to her beliefs. She was made to show ID she didn't have on her . But it's very clear it wasn't about her age .And we are all in our 40s and up . It was straight-up discrimination myself, and others were there and witnessed it all. So nope, I do not suggest using this particular location. If you believe in something, and you don't want to be discriminated for it. And denied the purchase of items.
Terrible absolute terrible service. Had mask on both times and was denied due to mask not being good enough it has been good everywhere else covers my neck to top of my nose. Hard enough remembering a mask but getti g denied when you do then they refused to give me a mask. Funny thing is I already touched everything g and was at the counter so what was purpose of saying no
All the amenities were normal for a 7-11 but the assistants were TERRIBLE . Really rude, racist towards my friend who was speaking English perfectly well as his second language but they were incapable of understanding him - come on, get with the 21st century ladies!!, they were extremely disrespectful and never apologised or became aware of their disgusting white supreme cost behaviour. They then proceeded to serve white Canadian people behind us with excessive manners. Coincidence? I think not. Revolted with you, ladies. In order for the staff to know exactly who we are talking about - two elderly ladies assisting behind the counter around noon today. Get them fired I would.
I love the chicken wings but the in store advertised price of 20 wings for $18.50 is not being honoured. Both cashiers said the price is now $20.00 for 20 wings. Change your signage or charge the old price. Either price is expensive for wings but if you don’t feel like cooking this is a tasty option.
