Was not impressed. Although the same day visit earns them points, the technician took a screw driver and hammer to my door even after I expressly told him the door/lock could not be damaged. He concluded the lock needed to be drilled out and replaced for a hefty expense. After seeking a second opinion, another locksmith had me into my apartment with ease and no further damage was required.

I locked myself out of my bedroom in a rental home, so I called to get it unlocked. The technician was super nice, very polite, and called beforehand to make sure I was home. He was also on time. However, he tried to pick my lock for 10-15 minutes and couldn't unlock it. The second option was to drill a hole in the lock for $80, $85 for a new lock and $40 for installation. The landlord has a spare key so these charges would be way too much. However, he won't be able to come by for several days. So now, despite the door being still unlocked, I had to pay $50 ($15 for the service call and $35 for 10 minutes of labour). While I understand this is a business, I feel that the prices are too steep for the services offered and time involved.

Technician was quick to my house. Called prior to arriving to let me know he was on his way. He was very professional and worked efficiently and quickly. Friendly and made me feel comfortable letting him into our home. Highly recommend this company!

I recently had my dead bolt lock and doorknob changed. It was not an emergency and I was able to make an appointment time for the next day for the repair work. The technician phoned me before he arrived and completed the job in a good time frame. The door was quite sticky, an ongoing problem with humidity as the seasons change, and he was able to accommodate the problem and reset the door. It has never fit better! Thanks 519 Locksmith.

I called at 10 pm, the next day at noon my patio door lock was installed. The technician was friendly, well mannered and best of all, product knowledgeable and at a fair price. I run my own small carpet business, so I know there are two kinds of tradesmen, those that are ineffective and those that are competent, this company proved they are certainly the latter. 6 Stars would be more deserving!
