Fast and delicious!

We love this place when we visit Winona-  nothing fancy, just fast pizza that we can send the kids across the tracks to pick up.

Food is okay and that's about it. Service is nice but what's with the weird hours?

My husband was denying pizza from his life for weeks, but alas, $5 pizza broke him. He ordered a pepperoni with garlic sauce. It was the most glorious pizza. We ate it by the campfire at Prairie Island campsite. Great pizza. Unfortunately, it was a 12 minute wait.

Okay, so they made a mistake naming their franchise after a pricing model that ended shortly after they opened. But we can forgive them for that, right? I mean, it's still likely the cheapest take-out pizza you'll find around town. Because if there's one thing every college town needs, it's a go-to, low cost pizza joint!

I had there bone-in barbeques chickens wings for the 1st time.  Very good.  Excellent service.  I decided to call $5.00 Pizza because I called Pizza Hut but they kept putting me on hold and they didn't even acknowledge that I was on the other line.  I hung up and called $5.00 Pizza instead.  Glad I did!
