40 Bay Street Bed & Breakfast

One of the best B & B's we've ever stayed at. Superior accommodation and service. Excellent breakfast and Susan Poole is one of the nicest persons we've ever met. Highly recommended establishment.

My family stayed at 40 Bay St for 3 nights in July 2013 utilizing both The Retreat Room & The Garden Room. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. Clean & comfortable & air conditioned. Food was simply delicious with different choices each day. Susan was our host and quite gracious. She is friendly, family oriented, knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to assist us with our younger daughter when she wasn't feeling well. She is extremely intelligent and runs her B&B with caring, respect and efficiency. 40 Bay St offers little luxuries as well such as free cold bottled water and 24 coffee/tea station. The home is only accessible via key entry which you receive from her upon arrival; we always felt safe & secure. The location is fabulous as it across the street from the Town Dock and walking distance to great restaurants & downtown. Parking was easily accessible right in front of the home and free of charge. Each of the three rooms have their own distinct personality. The Retreat Room is simply fabulous & luxurious all the way...it is also the coolest room in air conditioned months. The Garden Room has two twin beds, very cute décor and lovely walkout to deck/garden. The bathroom is a little small but functional. The Bay Room is nice with a small washroom but great view of Georgian Bay. For some light sleepers, they may find the railway tracks/trains a little noisy & rumbly but Susan brilliantly includes earplugs with the toiletries. This issue is true for any accommodations in the northern part of town. We have stayed in almost every accommodation possible in Parry Sound over the years as we visit family/friends up there every summer...so far, she offers the best value. We will most definitely be returning. Susan, if you're reading this....we can't thank you enough for giving us such a great experience and "home away from home" feeling.

Stayed at 40 Bay during the Festival of the Sound and would highly recommend the establishment to any visitor to Perry Sound looking for a premium B&B experience. Stayed in a room with a fabulous king sized bed, wifi, satellite tv, and the best shower I've EVER used. Breakfast was scrumptious with a range of dietary options available, including gluten and dairy free. Hope to visit again next summer!

40 Bay Street Bed & Breakfast is best ever. Beautiful vistas of Georgian Bay not to mention Susan's welcoming hospitality and delicious breakfasts.

This B&B is well-located on the waterfront in Parry Sound. The hostess makes and excellent breakfast! She recommended "The Wellington Pub" for dinner - it was quite good and within easy walking distance. The 'Garden Room' has a comfy King-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The hostess provides a selection of pillows to suit your preferences. Wireless internet access included. Although the B&B was full the night we stayed, it was very quiet, we didn't hear the other guests at all. We did hear the train which runs to the side of the property, an interesting wake up call!
