Really enjoyed this visit!! Loved the crispy yet tender Fried Calamari and dipping sauce. The Birria Taco was delicious! The Chorizo and Chicken Tacos were a tad dry, but this restaurant has so much potential with authentic Mexican cooking and excellent service. Love that the tacos are only $5 or $6 each. Definitely will return to try more of their other items! Lots of dine-in tables and booths and parking spots. Lighting for dinner was a bit dim, but I guess that's just the ambience.
As per their name "Express", they are like a fast food restaurant that you know what you want, so just order and leave. Me being first time here I was standing in front of the counter and reading their menu for a long time. Staffs is not very helpful when I ask questions. They keep asking me if we are ready to order even we are just standing on the side and other customers can still order so I ended up going back to my car and check out their menu on their website. Their staffs looks unhappy and none of them smile or willing to make conversation with you. Food is not bad but the ordering experience really turn me off. They do have a few tables for you to have your meals at the restaurant if you want. No table service here.
Very delicious Mexican food. We ordered the Enchaladas and Quesabirria which is Quesadillas both with good portion and cooked deliciously. The presentation of Churro looks like a piece of art and most important is it tastes so good. They are very generous on the chocolate and caramel sauce. Excellent service there, staff are very attentive. We'll definitely return.
Passed by their location in Vaughan many times, and have always wanted to try it! Luckily, they also have this location in Richmond Hill that is much closer to me. Our server also mentioned that this location tends to be less busy than the one in Vaughan which I was happy about since crowds tend to make me nervous. Onto the food! -[MARIACHIS NACHOS] $15 Black beans, Salsa Roja, blend with Monterey jack, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese. Topped with Pico de Gallo, green onions, and serrano peppers. Okay, these were SO loaded! Each chip was "the chip" that people usually search for when reaching in a stack of nachos in that each chip was absolutely topped with everything If spice is not your thing, definitely get the serrano peppers on the side because although they are more flavorful than jalapenos, they are also far spicier -[FRIED AVOCADO TACO] $5 Topped with Pico de Gallo, coleslaw, mariachi sauce This was so good! Never thought that a vegeterian option could be so flavorful and unique Highly recommend giving this a try if you're a fan of avocados too -[FISH TACO] $6 Lightly hand-breaded white fish. Topped with coleslaw, pickled red onion, cilantro, our mariachi sauce The piece of fish was definitely a sizable portion! The pickled onions could have been pickled a bit better to get rid of the bite the onions had but otherwise, a super solid taco -[BURRITO FIT BOWL W/VEGGIES] $17 Rice, Beans, Salsa Roja, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, Cabbage, and Cheese with our creamy chipotle dressing. Choice of Chicken/Shredded beef/sauteed veggies. The portion was HUGE for this too! Very delicious blend of ingredients All of their tacos are served as single which gives you the freedom to order as few or as many as you want to try! All tacos seem to be made as soft tacos, and they are encompassed by two tortillas each
Found this restaurant on Uber Eats when searching for tacos. I ordered the Fried Avocado Tacos and Elote street corn. The corn was flavourful and delicious! They add a zesty and sweet sauce to the corn - it is to die for! The tacos were good, however, I would have appreciated a little more seasoning on the coating of the fried avocado. Everything was fresh and hot! Will certainly order from 3 Miriachis again!
If you wanna try some authentic Mexican food, this is definitely the place! Food is absolutely amazing, Very good portions and great taste. This location is mainly for take out and delivery, but there are couple of tables if you feel like dining, in this lively colourful restaurant. And guess what they have a Mexican market as well. I will go back again for sure!
Stumbled upon this place one Saturday afternoon after going to the wrong Turtle Jack's location. I ordered the beef enchiladas 3 per order and 9 empanadas beef, chorizo & chicken. The woman behind the counter was friendly & we engaged in a nice conversation. It was lunchtime so I took everything home which was very well packed. I got 3 small containers of sour cream and 3 hot sauce to go with the enchiladas. There was also a side salad that possibly comes with the enchiladas. Looks can be deceiving as eating 2 enchiladas was filling. It was delicious & the salad I had with it was so refreshing! I didn't have any of the empanadas until later so put them in the toaster over on the convention bake setting. These were really good too! The only downside is when you pull it out of the oven, there is a lot of grease in the catch tray & the plate will hold a small puddle of oil. It is not nice to see how much oil they retain. Wish it wasn't so much but otherwise very tasty. I will definitely go back to try out other menu items.
Ordered the Mariachi Platter. Delicious and large portions. We ordered During one of the coldest days of the year. Worth getting it and just warmed it up at home. My favourite was the enchiladas. And the sauce was delicious
Nice to have a Mexican spot close by. Ordered twice in the last week. Birria tacos are tasty. Mariachi platter is enough for me and m'lady as well. Chimichanga is a big boy
Food is pretty good but a little dry. They could also give more sour cream. The green salsa is delicious. We ordered the two person meal and there was plenty of food. Only downside is that all the shells were a little soggy by the time we got home.
