2nd Chance Sports

When we lived closer, this was our 'Go to' place to up size kid skates. Now that we live in the deep south, I realize that no other places compare to it as in customer service. It will be a bit of a drive, but I am sure it will be worth it.

Great place to get 2nd hand sports gears like ice hockeys, protection gears, gloves, golf stuff, sports shoes, helmets, skates and protectors, ski pants even. Just be ready to be patient and look carefully and you should be able to find a lot of things. And can always call before going.

Great store, great to reduce, reuse and recycle. Always great to get some cheap gear to start a new sport. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I grew up coming here and buying my figure skates and even bought a pair of roller blades. They sell a bunch of good sports equipment for good prices. They keep it organized so everything is easy to find and in one spot. Also provides sharpening which is awesome !

My go to place any time I need hockey or any other sportswear and equipment Friend at the counter is always good to deal with.

2nd Chance Sports is a fantastic local small business to support in Calgary! Kevan gives great customer service and is knowledgeable about his inventory! I’ve happily purchased quality equipment for squash, tennis, and hockey at affordable prices!

Went in today looking for some ski equipment and the staff there barely looked up from his phone. Had to ask for help and then he gave bare minimum and went back to the desk his phone. Left disappointed and won’t be back again.

Nice place! Tons of good used equipment at affordable prices. I came in to sell some of my equipment and the gentleman I spoke with was very helpful explaining to me the market and value of my items. He made me a reasonable offer based on what equipment I had and was honest about What he could in turn sell them for. I ended up taking my equipment home but in the end felt like I had made the right decision not that I had been lowballed by any means. I would definitely recommend them buying or selling any equipment or for great info/advice!
