Howell’s Uptown, Downstairs Place to Meet.

Story

Welcome to Howell's only uptown downstairs place to meet. Join us to relax in a warm, casual atmosphere with a craft beer, a classic cocktail, or glass of wine. Our only entrance is in the back, off the alley. There is a parking lot at the southeast corner of Walnut and Clinton. If you park there and look toward Grand River, you'll see a wall with a mural on it. Go to the left of that mural and you'll find our stairway to heaven down to the pub.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Howell. All the food we've tried is delicious, the staff is attentive, and my boyfriend and I love the vibe! We always suggest this place to people. I recommend the chilli mac, as it's my favorite. But anything you order will be good. 👍

Fabulous food, great drinks, fun location! It's my favorite restaurant/bar. Shrimp and grits are outstanding, as are the weekly specials. If you're in Howell, go downstairs to the best eatery downtown!

Hadn’t been here since the kitchen was expanded. Probably won’t return. Prices are very high. My husband got the steak tips. The portion was very small, there was a hunk of gristle with the meat and the sauce was just coney sauce. I got the wild mushroom risotto. It was just rice with Campbell mushroom soup poured on it. My husband ordered a vodka and tonic. The waitress brought vodka and cranberry. The only thing that went right was my drink, a shrub (it too was overpriced). Needless to say, one appetizer, one entree, and 2 drinks set us back $60. Plus, we were seated at the bottom of a set of stairs with high traffic and the waitress was pushy.

Great restaurant and great atmosphere! Me and my group of friends went to celebrate a birthday and it was everyone's first time there. The server made us feel welcomed and was very attentive. Glasses were always full and the service was phenomenal. Entree's and appetizers were all excellent. Towards the end, the owner even came over to see how everything was. We will definitely be back!

Really cool, small bar with excellent food. They're draft beer list included lots of small breweries and different beers. The pasta was done perfectly and tasted great, the Cuban sandwich was a tad small but is probably the best one I've ever had. After hearing multiple people say great things about this place, I have to agree. I cant wait to go back this weekend!
