Locally-owned franchisee with fun, FAST pizza with excellent topping and sauce options. Thinner crust and much easier on the stomach than many pizza places. Great quick bite to eat when running errands or doing projects at home. Fun rewards club too! Many beverage options including beer, sparkling water from the new style Coke machines and brewed tea on the side
I've been here twice so far, and I don't know if I'd really want to go again unfortunately...the first time my pizza was undercooked to where not all the cheese was fully melted, and the second time the basil was kind of charred and inedible, but I guess that's cuz it's 1k degrees, so some ingredients probably need different temperatures and times to cook well. Even so, I think the worst part for me was that the service was soooo slow, even though there were barely any customers and there were two people working there. I understand that maybe you guys felt like it was fine to take your time, because maybe the line wasn't super long, but at the same time, I feel that if you could maybe just hurry up a bit because maybe your customers don't have all the time in the world. Thanks for understanding!
Excellent 'Za! Crust is delicious, which os what makes a great pizza. The high temp, elevates the whole thing. Love that we can build our pizza, EXACTLY how we each like! The pricing is super reasonable and its just the only way to get a pizza around here!
I have been to 1000 Degrees Pizza several times and have found the food and service to be great. The workers have always been friendly and helpful. The pizza you order is prepared as you order. You choose your choice of size, crust, sauce and toppings. They then bake it as you watch and out comes a great tasting pizza.
Could be a really good pizza place but very skimpy on ingredients. Update: Went in again on 4/17 and the owner was training two new people who were both loading on the ingredients way better than this. The black haired fellow who made this sad pizza still works there but everyone else seems to load on the toppings and are happy to add more.
I have never been disappointed with the service or food at 1000 degrees. I love the variety of toppings it's hard to beat a bake time of maybe 3 minutes.
I had a build-your-own pizza with pesto sauce, black olives, mushrooms, and bell peppers baked in large pizza oven with a side of chicken wings. The dough was crisp not doughy, the wings were cooked all the way through, and the sauce was spicy but not too hot. The chef answered all my questions about the pizza ingredients and even volunteered info. on questions I didn’t ask! Just about the best pizza restaurant experience i’ve had.
Editing original review from a 2 to a 4. We came back the next night and had a great experience. Great service and delicious pizza. I still think they should be open later on weekends, and I'd give them a 5! We were excited to try this place out and shocked to find when we walked in at 7:55 that a pizza place xlosed at i on Friday!
Just waited in line for half an hour for the employee working alone to make two pizzas while listening to her tell the customers that she's been by herself since 11am, is working the same shift tomorrow, and doesn't care if she's slow or people leave because she's quitting anyway. I don't blame her for that, if she is expected to work in those conditions. Regardless, there were still two people in front of us and we didn't want to wait another half hour before we even had the chance to order, so we left. I've never had the pizza there and will never go back.
This was our first time to 1000 degrees. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the restaurant was extremely clean. Loved how they put together the pizza right in front of us and there were many choices of toppings..also loved that the pizza was a flat price, you could have as many toppings as you'd like at no extra charge. I prefer white sauce over marinara so it was an extra plus that 1000 Degrees offers it. It took no longer than 8 minutes to walk in, order, and walk out with 2 fully baked pizzas! It really does only take 2-3 minutes to bake them. But the bottom line was we loved them! This is now our to go pizza place in Brookings!
