This is the best bar in Montreal and I will happily argue about it. You cannot find a looser, friendlier environment in town. Evelyn and Good Time Dave behind the bar are f#ckin beauties. I went to pop in for an hour or so on my last night, and was there till closing. I love this place and hope you will too.
It’s been around for a long time and hasn’t changed too much. Bartenders are super friendly and the crowd is generally pretty chill, lots of regulars. I would give it more Stars but recently the place has been smelling really bad, like a urinal. Guess it adds to the ziggys charm though. Lol. Good spot to get a drink but hope they fix that smell situation soon. It’s rough!
The bartender made us feel like we were the only one in the place. We'll be back for sure, many times.
Was in motreal for a week, my friend and I accidentally stumbled upon this place and absolutely fell in love. The bartenders are awesome, drinks are good, and exceptional vibe. We came here 4 nights in a roll before we left !
This place is exactly what I expected. It would be a perfect score if the bathrooms weren't so horribly kept. I know it was St.Patrick's weekend but still, it was beyond. Otherwise, the staff was super nice drinks were made great and the rest of the bar was clean.
Pretty good for what it is. Lots of TVs, friendly and good service. TouchTunes. No food menu and kinda smoky smell.
Great little pub, below street level. As a non-hockey person I still was surprised recognizing many of the photos on the walls. Quick service, nice out-of-the-way spot, great ambiance.
Realistically 2.5 stars. It’s your classic dive bar so there’s not much to expect but definitely very let loose and chill place. Patio was nice as it was slightly below street level and heated. Smells really bad inside though so I recommend sitting outside.
I love this place so much I come here all the time to have a good time everyone here is friendly. I don’t understand what people mean when they said the waitresses is racist I’ve been here countless times and everyone have been kind to me I’m Latina 15% is the minimum you should be tipping anywhere in Montreal if you think that’s too much there’s a SAQ on St Catherine street.
Great winter spot when you are a bigger group 5 to 10 people and dont want a live band in your ears. Jukebox available. Beer and seating area is average. But what else can expect from a classic dive bar.
