Zigarren

I have been shopping with Zigarren for years and cannot say enough good things about this B&M. I can't help but laugh at the poor reviews on here about customer service. I have never met a shop owner as knowledgeable as Joseph when it comes to all things tobacco cigar and pipe alike. They let you browse on your own time and stand with you, if you have any questions. Due to the nature of what they sell and the price point on some items it is completely understandable that they keep an eye on all people inside the humidor. It would be quite easy for theft to go unnoticed. Joseph is incredibly welcoming, I've had some fantastic discussions with him. Perhaps his being ESL "annoys" people but I can't fathom holding that against a shop keep. Highly recommend taking a step inside either of their two MASSIVE humidors, the selection is wild. Will always shop in and support the Zigarren crew! A+

Nice little store. Great selection and very knowledgeable staff. The guy there was happy to explain everything about the cigars. Really impressive shop.

The thing about Zigarren is the selection is unmatched no question. The qualms are with when asking about different cigar brands. I like boutique and smaller brands. I was treated like the cigars I like are garbage and you offer Rocky Patel. I asked about Sanj Patel SP1014 and was just told no. I said it’s getting a lot of love online and I bought them in the states I was met with never heard of them. You are followed throughout both humidors like you are a criminal. I come back because of the selection not the service.

Great tabbacco store best in the Calgary area in my humble opinion, staff are beyond friendly and helpful very inviting atmosphere. I bought my first pipe from them the other day and could not be happier I will definitely be a regular customer, Sincerely one very happy customer

Amazing selection of Cubans, Nicaraguans and Dominicans… etc. they were helpful in finding new cigars to try

New review; You don't have any idea who I am or remember any detail of my experience at your shop in dealing with the creepy person I dealt with do you? You've just proved yourselves liars on top of the poor experience at your shop. I don't smoke cigars - I came in for pipe tobacco.... Sorry for the inconvenience but I asked you several questions what you were looking for but you could not answer but just you said "I do not know". How I can you help you out. Even I confirmed three times that you were sure for this cigar. Please be prepare what you are looking for next time and we can give you right direction to select a right cigars for you. Thanks.

UPDATE; Zigarren replied to this review with a bunch of prattle.. Honestly they have no idea what i came in looking for as theyre yapping away defensively about cigars.... This is one of my favorite cigar shops. The staff is always awesome with telling me about each cigar so I get what I'm looking for.

I’ve been going here for a few years now, and I really like this place. Joseph and Sonny are always a big help and haven’t steered me wrong yet. They’ll ask what I’m looking for and what I like, and make some recommendations that are usually right on the nose! They have a dowright impressive humidor, great selection, cater to all budgets and have some fantastic accessory stock. Best tobacco shop in town!

Went in this cigar store pretty excited but left underwhelmed and disappointed. Great selection of cigars but the salesperson was not friendly and seemed to be uninterested after I told him I wanted something mild and around 20$. He took me into the humidor showed me three kinds and then just stood there without saying another word. I was the only customer in there and I felt that I was more of an annoyance than a potential repeat customer. Maybe he was used to the rich knowledgeable clientele that knew what they wanted without needing any other suggestions.
