Friday dinner after a long day. Great meal. Complimentary dates with butter inside really yummy Loved the kabab and sesame bread. Good portions. Excellent customer service. Ziafat is a hidden treasure
Superb appetizer to start Fish Pakora then comes my favourite Hareesa which is cooked so perfectly and gently that I crave it every weekend. BBQ platter with rice was good but need little improvement. Overall very good experience minus aging and modest ambiance.
We Made reservation and arrived 30 minutes before iftari time. The service was very slow but food was worth the wait. Highly recommend this Pakistani Restaurant to everyone. The food, hospitality and pricing were spot on in all avenues.
The best advantage to live in Canada is that you can try out so many different cuisines and local foods. Today we decided to explore Pakistani place and simply loved it. The place is nice but seating is not big. It can be paradise for non-vegetarian and we still found some vegetarian options there are only 5. But I still strongly recommend this place. So here is my food list: - Chikkar Channa Lahori ***** - Kalonji naan ***** - Sesame naan ***** Chana is too good. Not oily at all and perfect blend of spices. Wish they can add more vegetarian items.
Extremely disgusting food We ordered breakfast today and were very disappointed with quality of food. All channas were undercooked. They were just boiled in water and that’s it. Paratha Anda taste stale. Paratha is 1cm thick and undercooked. Anda channa and the channas that comes with pooris are all undercooked and just boiled in water. Sesame seed naans are good hence 1 star for those. Customer service is terrible. I called the owner to give feedback and he said that’s how there taste it. Very rude and disrespectful towards customers. Please spend your money at other Pakistani restaurants if you really want to enjoy food.
Delicious! We ordered several dishes and each one had its own distinctive flavour that showed the effort and time that was put into cooking it. We discovered this out of serendipity when the Egyptian place nearby where we intended to dine was packed with people. We drove half an hour from Toronto and it was totally worth it! The owner was very humble and not afraid to tell us how certain dishes were meant to be eaten or paired w sesame naan rather than rice. Some unique specialities like the signature Kashmiri goat dish cooked with the meat shredded w oat, lentil, and rice. Also we had our vaccine passports checked and staff wore gloves when served us. We appreciated that!
A great place if you are looking for real authentic food. Above average dine in area but food quality and taste exceeded my expectations. Sesame Naans were the best I've had in Canada.
Relatively unknown place but surprisingly fine food & very accomodating service. Also a very affordable, delicious & filling; weekend breakfast. Breakfast is $6 average with an excellent & tasty Anda Paratha Omelette/Roti. There is no other desi place we know of that serves Anda Paratha. Halwa Puri was also nice. It is not the Karachi type if you are looking for that but has their own taste to it & is worth trying. Lunch/Dinner is also nice. Butter Chicken was tasty and was wiped out quickly by our guests. Korma has a homemade taste to it & meat pieces are larger than average. However, the meat was extremely tender so regular eaters can easily split the meat. Biryani stood out because it comes with Egg! The taste is good too. There are definitely better biryani in GTA but we would not mind just getting it from here with other food. In BBQ, Bihari Boti was excellent and disappeared quickly off the plates. It is spicy and looked almost like Dum ka Qeema until you taste it which was delicious. Seekh Kabab & Tikka Boti were good, soft & had right amount of spices. Chapli Kababs were nice as well. Everything comes with plenty of garden salad & sauces. Overall, a great restaurant. We are definitely going to visit often & would not mind using them for catering as everyone loved the food at our small party.
Last weekend Halwa poori breakfast was v good in taste, quantity and quality and price too! Size of pooris were v good! Achari potatoes were something v different and tasty! I requested them to remove halwa and add more potatoes and chickpeas and they were flexible enough to do so, while others usually refuse! Only suggestion is to make it lil less oily!
Nice place to sit and eat. I visited this place 2nd time after a long time. I must say owner is friendly and listen to you. Nice person with sense of hospitality. Ordered paya. It was delicious. Of course Biryani was good too :. Ordered seasome and black seed Naan. Overall great place.
