It is a famous chain restaurant in China, and this is my first time to this one in North York. The dining area is very bright and clean. Food is fantastic with reasonable price and great service. You can customize your own dishes from hundreds of choices on meat, vegetables and soup, it will satisfy your taste any way. Try it, you will love it.
I ordered the dry pot mild spice with sesame sauce and a side of rice. Hands down best dry pot in town- flavors were very good and balanced, ingredients looked fresh, restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. Plus, the price was very reasonable for the amount I ate. 10/10 would recommend!
Wow! Was really surprised by how good this was! Really glad I get to choose what I want, how much of it, and loving how flavourful the pork bone soup is Surprised there’s abalone! My personal favourite is the large intestines and this really satisfies my cravings. The mild still had a kick, so next time will try medium
The selection and soup base at this location is amazing. We also found the pricing to be extremely reasonable for the excellent quality ingredients and portions. Very satisfied with our visit.

It can get pretty busy sometimes. A very simple place that you can grab what you’d like to eat and weigh it at the cashier. I’ve tried multiple Malatang on Yonge but I’d say this one is the best! The soup itself has lots of flavour in it. I have visited this place for about 3-4 times. It’s more of a self service style but the staff are friendly too. Wish they make this place bigger because sometimes I’d need to wait 15-20mins for table.
Always my go-to malatang place <3 nice self serve bar, clean washroom and good interior and location!
I am a big fan of their soup base and a frequent customer of their store in Scarborough. Tried out this store yesterday, soup base is still good to me and I like their sauce selections. Service is awesome and quick. Keep up with the good work! Will definitely come again.
