Kind staff and a lovely meal. I had the Khao soi, spice level 3. Rich and filling. Generous enough to feed 2 adults.
This is our go-to place for Vietnamese and Thai food, and we get takeout from here more often than anywhere else in town. The spring rolls are great. My favourite dish is the rice with stir-fried mixed vegetables, which might sound basic, but the flavour is really great and they cook it perfectly. The price is also reasonable considering each order usually lasts me for a couple of meals.
Everything from customer service, food, and decoration was impeccable. Only complaint was the dryness and size of the tofu in my Pad Thai. They were larger chunks and slightly overcooked but would still definitely go back!Food: 4/5
Best lemon grass chicken. Fast, nice atmosphere, great service, amazing food and big portions. They are even open Mondays and throughout the afternoon unlike a lot of places here. Makes coming to Powell a treat because this place is practically perfect.

Waited about an hour but man was it worth it and I can see why the wait was long! Honest to god the best pad Thai I’ve ever had! I got it five hot with tofu and the spice level was perfect, bursting with flavour and the portion was enough for three meals! Staff was friendly and I’ll most definitely be going back!
I had a curry dish , that reminded me of days gone by, in my days as a youth in Powell river , the other dish I had in there was very good just can't really remember what it was called , I know this much , it was pork and it was hot .it was xcellent...

Zab dee has the most kind staff. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Really good food, the whole restaurant has a home like feel. Definitely definitely try the food here. Once you try it you will have to come back!
I wanted to like it. It's very popular and there was a steady stream of take out customers. Our food took 40-45 minutes to arrive and though I ordered vegan, I was given an oyster based stir fry. They made me another stir fry in about 10 minutes. It was ok, but I am probably not going to return any time soon.
