I went to DJ flooring because one of the installers they always use recommended them. I purchased $12k worth of Vinyl Plank Flooring Goodfellas Brand from DJ flooring. The floor has a 10 year warranty and is rated for temperature range of -60 to +60 degrees Celsius and it can be installed in kitchens and bathrooms. Ryan who is no longer working there was the sales person who sold me the flooring. I spent another $27k on the Installation. The Installer did everything right in my opinion and I was here working from my home while the installation was happening, I have done renos projects on my previous homes and used the same installers and never had this issue. A few month after installation the planks started to separate in several areas of the house. The installer came back several time to fix the issues but it kept happening all over the house. we came to the conclusion that the floor was the issue and not the installation. I called, e-mailed and personally went to speak to Brent the Manager/owner at DJ Flooring to help me solve this issue because spending $40k on flooring/Installation to have this happen is extremely disappointing. The installer who knows Brent very well also reached out to him several times, Brent told him he would get the Goodfellas rep to come over to my home to review the issue. the only response I personally got from him months ago was that he said he would contact the Manufacturer Goodfellas but since he did not recommend the installer that he is not responsible for the issue. So, he did not recommend the installer but the Installer he always recommends, recommended his store for me to buy the flooring fromwhat a class act he is it has been over 6 months of phone calls, emails and trips to the store and Brent nor the flooring manufacturer rep are anywhere to be found. For anyone looking to buy flooring, I would not recommend DJ Flooring nor the Goodfellas Brand, they are neither the cheapest nor the most responsive when there are issues. We are now getting the opinion of an independent flooring reviewer and will most likely take legal action against DJ flooring and Goodfellas floors as this has dragged on for months.
Buddy was kind, knowledgeable and very professional. He listened to what I wanted and gave me the best suggestions. Super happy how everything turned out, I can't stop staring at our new floors Thanks Buddy for all of your help. We'd definitely recommend Buddy!
D&J did the flooring for my condo. I previously had a laminate and D&J took care of everything from the removal of the existing floor, the leveling of the sub floor and of course the supply and install of the engineered hardwood. One thing I can say is that I am very glad I paid for the leveling. Now the floor has no hollow spots and doesn't move at all. The crew were friendly, they arrived on time, did what they said they were going to do and they cleaned up after themselves when they finished. I dealt with Danielle from D&J and she was very professional. Her level of service was beyond what I would have expected. When I was unable to go to the D&J showroom to choose a product she brought me samples to look at and ultimately I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Danielle and the rest of the gang at D&J flooring.
I had a very positive experience with both the purchase and the installation of engineered hardwood throughout my home. Aleisha, the sales consultant, was knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and always helpful. Marlon, the installer, did a great job with the floor levelling, followed by some amazing work with the flooring installation and trim. I have previously had wood flooring installations done with mixed results and Marlon's work is truly top-notch.
D&J Flooring are very professional, friendly and have excellent customer service!! The new floors fit our condo so much better than the original flooring and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing their services. Quiet work, courteous workers and completed in a timely manner. Exceptional!

No surprise this company has 3 stars. They installed new flooring in my home with 35 years warranty and when I tried to claim an issue under warranty they dismissed me. Be careful when you do business with them.
A year and a half later.... Any water touches these floors they swell. Sadly our case was a flood and this is the company that came in. You can hear every step everywhere. We clearly got the cheapest flooring they had and did a quickie job. I also had to pay for one room to be done so our condo flooring would match throughout. Here you can see where they cut short and try to hide it under a joint.
D&J put in new flooring for my unit after a total flood in my apartment. I worked with Ryan for selection and consulting and he and was great; flexible and responsive to any questions I had. On top of the new flooring, Ryan and his team put in a ton of leveling to make sure that that the job was done well and I ended up with a fantastic product. We upgraded from laminate to vinyl flooring and are quite happy with the result. Not only does the space feel much cozier with the style of plank we choose, it is noticably quieter compared to what we had before. Since things were a bit rushed because of the floor, we weren't able to get our first choice in flooring because of limited stock, but Ryan worked to find a suitable alternative as quickly as possible. I'm more than happy with how it turned out.
We worked with D & J on our basement reno due to a Hot Water tank explosion. They worked with us on choosing great looking, quality flooring and then had it installed. We were really impressed as they delivered ahead of schedule and it looks amazing. Norbert and team were great installers - felt really confident having them work in our home. I highly recommend Pierre and the team at D & J. Job well done. - Darcy M
