One of my favorite shawarma places in Toronto and I’ve been to a LOT of them! They have a slight twist on the shawarma wrap. Instead of a wrap, the filling is put into the pita pocket. Another awesome thing they do is that they mix all the chicken and toppings together before putting it in. Otherwise, in most other places, all the toppings are on one side and meat on the other. Don’t forget to put on their delicious home made garlic sauce and HOT sauce my favorite part. They have Costco fries so these are definitely the best type of fries you can have. Ok so their shawarma is amazing but don’t forget to have their burgers, which are also one of the best I’ve had. They’re huge specially if you get the king burger. It’s a real meat patty and they add a bunch of in house sauces. My only issue with the burger is that it’s quite pricey for a place that isn’t sit-down. $13 for a King Burger. In the summer, they have a patio so it’s really nice. The Chicken Shawarma Platter comes on Shawarma fries and the large is HUGE enough for 2 people. It’s not shown on the menu but the price is $16.50
Chicken Shawarma is a must try from this place! The cost is reasonable. If you are paying with a credit card, they do charge a fee of 25 cents without telling you. But the food was delicious, good portion and good quality. Will try the other items during my next visit.
Ordered a Chicken Shawarma combo.. the sharwama was good, the fries..reeked, cold and nasty to the taste. It seems i was served the leftovers from earlier as I was in late in the evening but still not the way. Sadly..I will not recommend this place and nor will I ever step in there again..till Mr Mohamed..the man who served me the first sandwich in this establishment is back at the helm. Once the go to place for good food is no longer worth the effort. If the owner has the decency, make the changes happen and comment on all posts not just those that favour you.
Worst shawarma restaurant I have been to for many reasons and I hope the owner reads this: 1 1 Shawarma is $12 after tax, 2 shawarma did not taste that great 3 no Tahini or Hummus, only Mayo based white sauces, which shawarma store has no tahini??? 4 no option to skip the tip part of the terminal, seriously? It’s already the most expensive store around and they almost force tip even for take out
I gave you 4 stars not to mess your rating but 14 dollars plus a dollar for a cheap piece of cheese when it should be included? 15 plus tax for a mediocre small burger? Bboy burger will give you more meat for half price. Sir are you ok?
The hamburger combo NEVER disappoints. I'm obsessed with their white herb sauce, it's one if their staple sauces and you can eat it with anything on the menu. Firoza is also incredible employee as she's so kind and you can see her hard working spirit! *everything on the menu is halal!
I ordered the Chicken Shawarama combo. It included fries and a pop for $13. The sandwich was extremely fresh and tasty. I asked for extra spicy and extra turnips both which were included for no extra charge. The hot sauce was actually 'hot' and flavorful and I enjoyed their crispy fresh fries. If your hungry I would recommend the combo, it is very filling. I couldn't finish all of my fries. If you ask for take-out they package it nicely too. The 3 of us went in and we waited approx. 10 mins or so for our meal. There was not a line ahead of us but as soon as we sat down the crowd walked in. They seemed to manage it well. I would recommend a meal from here if you are hungry and on the go. You will be satisfied :
I was in for takeout 20 mins ago. I asked for only shawarma sauce and they put pieces if tomatoes, pickles and other vegetables I couldn’t recognize. I don’t veggies and it’s disappointing paying almost $20 for one pita I could even eat because they use the same equipment to mix the meat. ZERO STARS FORM ME! Not even the customer service was good.
Yummi’s has always had a great reputation in Scarborough so I decided to give it a try. We ordered the Chicken Shwarama wrap which was $7.00 and a Chicken Shwarama plate which was not listed on the menu. We asked if plates were available and the employee said yes so we went ahead with that. Somehow it miraculously came up to $25.00 with tax and we were a bit confused how expensive this plate must have been since it wasn’t a combo or anything. Anyways, the wrap was delicious and the plate was alright. There is no turnip nor hummus offered at this place which came to me by surprise but the added ketchup and all in the plate made it a bit bland. It’s great that they mix everything before putting the contents into the wrap so you taste everything at once. I would visit again but only for the Chicken Shwarama wrap.
Humble joint with delicious food! I see a lot of people ordering the king burger but I ended up just ordering the queen which was still big for me. Patties are obviously homemade and flavorful. Fries were so good with the garlic sauce, ketchup and parsley. I do wish the shawarma would be a little bigger but overall, not bad for the price you pay. Service is a little slow but I see that they try their best.
