It truly hurts me having to put such a low rating to my hometown airport and my place of employment but what they've done to us throughout the plandemic was an insane reach on our privacy and well-being. Never have I felt such bullying from an establishment, and the way the employees behaved like police officers. A real nightmare that I will never ever forget!
Still experiences massive delays at the carousels. Been waiting for 2 hours with three other flights for our bags.nnThis is embarrassing for an international airport.
Montreal International Airport has the potential to be a great gateway, but the current organization of the departure area leaves much to be desired. The stop-and-go traffic at the drop-off zones results in significant delays and lengthy lines of cars, making it a stressful experience for both travelers and drivers. Additionally, the lack of conveniently located parking spots near the departure area makes it challenging to properly say goodbye to loved ones. While the airport services and staff inside are efficient, the initial impression and convenience of the airport could definitely be improved to better serve passengers and their families
I’ve traveled to 35 airports, including ones in developing countries. I’ve never felt compelled to write an airport review. But this was, by the far the most inefficient arrival experience I’ve ever had.nnBaggage claim was a hot mess. 7 flights on 1 belt, extremely crowded. then the belts kept changing and I kept having to walk around to find where I should wait. It took 45min to find 1 bag.nnThen, finally made it out and thought I was home-free, only to find the longest line known to man to buy a bus ticket.nnIf you can, avoid this airport. If I could, i’d give 0 stars.
Departed to Seattle from YUL.nEven though the advice is to arrive 3 hours early, we got inspected by security my bag was searched and the agent looked a little disappointed only to find cheese!, and cleared US passport control quickly because we had the app. That line looked to be an hour long so we were fortunate to have discovered the secret.nThe whole thing was less than one hour.nnThe pics are from the departure area, the bar featuring women’s wrasslin’ and a bike phone charger!
