A very warm and caring environment. A house of worship which embraces all of its members on sunny and cloudy days. Excellent religious school. Provides trained and visible security.
A very warm and supportive Jewish community led by a Rabbi who is highly intelligent, caring and a source of inspiration.
Brilliant, dedicated Rabbi who leads a very warm and caring congregation.
One of the most supportive, loving synagogues in Connecticut.
I visited West Hartford for a Shabbos and reached out to the Young Israel community for hospitality. I really cannot express the warmth I experienced visiting this shul. Everything was set up for me far in advance in terms of a place to sleep and meals, and they were very responsive in terms of communication. During my visit, everyone was very kind and I never really felt like a visitor or an "outsider." The davening was inspirational, the meals were great, and I left Saturday night hoping I'd be back soon!
The members of this shul create a warm and welcoming community. The Rabbi and Rebbetzin reach out to connect and serve. The people greet you and provide delicious hospitality. This is a real community!
