I absolutely love this place! The menu is a little small, but it's definitely a quality vs quantity type of situation. The quality of the food is very impressive and more than makes up for it. Everything is made fresh. They have fun events going on a lot and daily specials. I highly recommend going on Monday for pizza. Or you can stop by Tuesday for board game night. The atmosphere is awesome too, really friendly staff, and an amazing view of Lake Cowichan and the surrounding mountains. 10/10, you have to try it!
We made a reservation for 12 and they were pretty fast getting us our food. The nachos, fries, cauliflower bites and pizzas were great. The bacon chicken alfredo was really bland by all accounts, but with some salt and pepper it was pretty good. It tasted like the sauce wasn't much more than cream! The slices of avocado on the chicken burgers were big and unripe to be fair they warned us that the avocado was unripe. The drinks were excellent and it's a pretty place!
Outside terrace is having a gorgeous view and very cozy. On the day we went they were down in servers hope this is not frequent but the one that was there did multiply effort and stayed very friendly I would have not been as patient as she was. Our food was good. Tasty burger and good onion rings. Although chicken wings were a bit overcooked. The inside is very eye catching and has a catchy decor that I really enjoyed. Overall a place I will definitely go again.
Great food, great service and very friendly staff. We went on for a drive on Family Day and ended up in Youbou and stopped in for lunch, had a great bowl of soup and prices were really good.

Service was great and super friendly, the food delicious. Loved the fish and chips, that batter, wow! We were looking for a nice place with good atmosphere to spend our Saturday night and this fulfilled and exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend it and come back!Food: 5/5
Took a motorcycle ride down from Courtenay. Had the homemade burger. It was nice and juicy and delicious. Staff was very pleasant. Great view from the deck, lots of parking around back. And a nice little area to visit. Next time I'm bringing the bathing suit for a dip in the lake.
We were at your establishment this evening January 22 2023. The mens washroom didn’t have a working faucet at the only basin in the restroom. I told the waitress that it didn’t work and I was told it’s a known issue. In this day and age one would think that hygiene and sanitation would be your top priority like your website says. My wife used the ladies bathroom and the faucet worked fine.
More items on the menu will be a good idea, food was good but felt like the fried fish I ate would have been much better with proper seasoning. Service and ambience was cool. This place is the only one good restaurant in the Youbou area.
Very cool bar and great view of Cowichan Lake Service was wonderful my Mom got chicken wings. Best we ever had and I had the veggie burger, which was delicious
