Ok mall nothing special has most of your basic needs like groceries, technology, bank, even laundry facility. People who go here are more senior/elderly people they are not nice. Always looking for trouble and to put on a show. This is from my own experience shopping here.
Great mall - hidden treasure, full of stores with incredible deals - most notably, the Perfume Galore/Cosmetics Warehouse & Perfumery. It is located on the downstairs floor. They carry a huge variety of designer perfumes and colognes at wholesale prices. I have yet to find prices similar anywhere in the GTA. Highly recommended!
I understand the area is based on lower living for for family. But the government can add stuff to update the area. After all these years, the place is still depressing. Add a new varieties of stores life dufferin mall. The community needs uplifting programs for the youths and families.
I only visit this mall for 4 reasons- No Frills, Toronto Library, Si Vous Play, and LCBO. Dollarama staff is rude and miserable could be because of clientele or management. Wish they’d put in better retail choices in the empty /existing spaces but doubtful that will become a reality.
A budget friendly mall with an LCBO and NoFrills on site. Plenty of parking! When the transit work on Finch is done, I hope to see big growth for this mall.
A beautiful mall on the North West corner of Jane Street and Finch Avenue. It is of two levels but still smaller, I think, than its compitator, JF Mall, situated on the SE corner of Jane and Finch. Yorkgate is well decorated and is prettier, more attractive, and captivating than its counterpart. It has Nofrills, Dollarama, Platinum Fitness, Doctor's office, and IDA pharmacy to compete with Freshco, Dollarama, Fit 4 Less, Doctor's office, and Shoppers Drug Mart respectively. Yorkgate has LCBO, though! So, if you need a bottle of strong drink, you have to come here. Freshco, in JF Mall, has a special area where you can get varieties of beer and wine - I do not know if it is on a par with LCBO. There is an Employment and Social Services center of Ontario. All the other stores and shops are like JF Mall - not top of the line. The mall is very clean and equipped with CCTV as well as security guards. The parking lot is huge where you can park your vehicle for free. On the second level, there is a campus of Seneca College that offers programs in Academic Upgrading, Social Service Worker, Personal Support Worker, and Practical Nursing. The food court across Seneca is much bigger and better than that of JF.
Sketchy mall. Not a place you would go to for shopping. They have a public library where I printed some stuff. There's a Tim Hortons and there's a food court. I bought Jamaican food from the food court and it was great. That's where I found the best coconut water in town. It came in a bottle and it tasted like fresh coconut water. I've tried a lot of coconut water like Grace's, Foco's, Buddha, Vitacoco etc... and this by far is the closest one to an authentic fresh coconut water without added water and sugar.
Unfortunately this mall seems run-down now. There's not much except Dollarama and Tim Hortons. Unless you go outside to the outer part of the mall; to church's chicken, planet fitness, no frills, etc. Or you go to their food court. P.s. China wok and El Greeko are THE BEST place to get cheap but delicious food. My go-to spot when I'm craving either or.
Very nice servers. Manali was my server. She have very good customer service. I love this restaurant.
