York House of Pizza

I thought the interior was okay. But they have an air conditioner! My kids enjoyed it since we did the Cliff Walk and they were hot and tired. The woman behind the counter let my kids use their Wifi. We ordered a large cheese pizza . I paid for it after we ate it. The man behind the counter forgot to charge me. He was surprised I came to pay for it. The pizzeria was very busy. The phone kept ringing. People were walking in placing orders. People came in to sit down and eat. I think there were only two people behind the counter. No bathroom available. I'm not a big fan of pizza, but, there was a different taste to the sauce from other pizzerias. My daughter, who is finicky, wolfed down her slices.

The guy that answered the phone doesn’t seem particularly appreciative but I can tell you this it’s the best tasting food that I’ve gotten here in York ! I’m here with my son for a few days and was driving by so decided to place an order , absolutely delicious and totally a great value. Thank you to the women who cooked it and rang me out , you made up for your unpleasant husband but I’m sure he’s tired and overwhelmed and worked because of not being able to find people to work like a lot of these small businesses.

Pizza was good, but the sauce for the American cop suey tasted and had the consistency of day old sauce.Food: 3/5

Went here to get subs for lunch. I ordered a turkey sub and was told they had no turkey. Then I ordered a BLT sub and after about 10 minutes of waiting was told they had no bacon. Finally settled on a tuna sub, which tasted fine. Basically, the kitchen as well as the seating areas could use some help.

Love their pizza and the nicest people! I just wish we lived closer to be able to have it more often. I am a big fan of the special pizza. Fresh veggies, sliced meats. It’s always good. We make it a point to visit here whenever we are in the area. Amazing French fries and grinders as well.

Slight loss of appeal from the last time I was there, but it had been several years. They were very busy though

I have been coming here frequently for years! I love the food, the owners are always nice, it's my comfort food place to go! I especially enjoy talking with Sue who usually waits on me. She is caring and always remembers who I am. Just love York HouseMany times they have saved me from cooking when I'm exhausted, with delicious hot food. Very grateful

Food was ok. Got pizzas, fries and tenders. It's your classic Greek pizza. Nothing over the top. Good for quick food and the price was right. Parking: About three spots plus on street parking

Meh. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid - moved back home recently. It’s just not the same as it once was. Portion sizes are small, and food is really inconsistent. Never thought I’d ever turn down a YHOP meal, but these days, I’ll pass.

Had a flat bread pizza. It was hot and greasy just as a pizza should be. Great place. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend.Food: 4/5
