I thought it was very unfortunate that this company was unwilling to help benefit their community in any way. I contacted them for participation in a volunteer effort to help students build job experience and was spoken to very rudely by a customer service associate, who interrupted me and hung up without allowing me to finish.
It's a shame that this business couldn't be bothered to give back to the community that supports them.
