Was clean and quiet. We had a nice stay with the family.Rooms: 4/5
It was clean, quite, and the bed was nice. Shower had crazy pressure too. There were a few flaws. Like the sink was sorta detached from the wall and the mirror was kinda jacked up but didn't bother me none. My only real complaint would be that the t.v. was not working. I never asked the front desk about it so not sure what the deal was. I was too tired to care anyway. This is also a dry hotel. Meaning if you are coming up for fishing or work, you need to leave the booze in the vehicle. But for a northern hotel it checked off all the important boxes.
Staff were friendly but when asked on moving rooms to get a fridge the front desk said they would bring me on instead. I was there for over a week and never a fridge was a brought to my room. I used the staff room microwave to cook my meals. This was only after I asked how I am able to cook something instead of consistently going out for dinner. Every room in my opinion should now be equipped with at least those two things. I have been in some amazing hotels further north so being a northern hotel isn't an excuse.
Pros - decent wifi Cons - By busy night area. - Curtains don't cover windows correctly. - incomplete maintenance. - flat worn out pillows - Expensive I've stayed there twice. In one year the price went up $60 and the quality dropped. Room had 2 working lights out of 5.
A good spot to stay. Right across from the restaurant. Beds are comfy and soft. They arranged for a fridge for me which was great since I’m travelling a lot and try not to eat out on every meal.. friendly staff too.
Good for a northern hotel can't compare to city hotels at same price point. Helpful staff. Good shower. Room had all basics I needed incl wifi. Sal's across the parking lot a nice plus. Better bedding especially better pillows would be a welcome improvement. Probably a 3/5 rating warrented but I'll throw them an extra star for being so accommodating.
I've stayed here a few times in the last few years. In Winnipeg I'd give this hotel a 2, but this is Northern Manitoba. I'm looking for clean, friendly and warm and this place gets high marks for all three. There is a Sals next door. Everyone was very friendly. Bed was very soft and comfy. Slept great!
Not bad . Starting to be a little more organized very sanitary vlt room
Shower head broken, stained carpet, old beds. Counter service was good.
